I love how the people in the audience aren't moving, talking or holding up their phones to record her. It's like they are so fixated on her and her music and they don't want to miss a single second of her performance. That's beautiful and extremely rare!
Michelle Jackson I used to take 100 pictures of every concert for 2 years, but then I' ve realized I' m missing the live experience by clicking the phone/camera all the time, so I rather listen, and do just 5 photos, and one with musicians. Anyway, if you are behind technology in a live event, you miss the whole cascade of emotions. Anyway, in really emotional and semi-acoustic and acoustic performances, people are usually stunned, and do not do lots of that stuff.
Michelle Jackson From the concerts I've been to, I usually take a lot of pictures and videos simply because I can't believe I'm standing in the same room as someone I admire so much! But I've learned to take less, and see more:)
It's strange how people (most of them) started paying attention to her when she stopped showing her face. From what I've read in the comments, a lot of people didn't knew her before her last album and her last singles. Well, I've been listening to SIA since forever and she is a true artist. This song is so deep. People need to LISTEN to music and not just watch it! Stop 'worrying' if she covers her face or not and just enjoy the damn music.
Darren Allen yeah that moment is precious! Glad someone else noticed it too :) that means you really did pay attention to every detail of the performance
This shit held my hand in the dark. Sometimes I don’t know how I made it through, but I’m forever grateful for the artists and the music which made me feel that little bit less alone
I have followed this lady for decades. There is nothing that is not nice about her. And she has one of the best voices in the world today. Love you, Sia.
Sia never hide your face again. You are pretty on the outside as well as on the inside, I admire your simplicity, your great heart and your beautiful voice.♪♫
She doesn't hide her face in insecurity, she does it so that she can separate her celebrity and normal life. She said that she found a moment where she realized this when once her friend was confessing they had cancer and a fan interrupted the conversation for a photo.
for all the people making ugly comments about the way she looks or her age. ..You truly are not thinking ...that is the exact reason she doesn't show her face. PLEASE stop looking for visual perfection. ....most of use will never come close to what we have become accustom to thinking is beautiful. Beauty is skin deep..ugly is to the bone...when beauty fades away...ugly keeps hanging on.
She is kinda perferct on her way, deep look and pretty mouth, all this wraped in cuteness and sensitivity but not everyone is able to see that soooo, big wig...
no performance, no song, no words, no voice, no soul, has ever touched me in this way. i am beyond words, and at a moment in the song found my self paralyzed by the feelings this created in me. i felt pain and loneliness like i had never before. sia, you are so powerful.
@@besanzaz i can relate to that as well... the paradox is that through her beautiful and painful songs, she gives us voice to tell about our own pain...
And then you find the song you always listened to in the many years of depression and selfharm. The song that takes your sadness, as if finally you are understood... On the many years I felt alone, this one took me through the days knowing I was not the only one going through all of this pain. Thank you for this music!
No one in the comments is saying she is ugly but enough people in real life have said it to influence her to cover her face to begin with. The hate most likely wont be on fan based videos but trust me its out there.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree. The new stuff isn't terrible or anything, but nothing has even come close to Colour the Small One/Some People Have Real Problems/We Are Born. Those three albums were just masterpiece after masterpiece. New stuff is just pop anthem after pop anthem. A cut above the usual, but still just kinda...that.

Fom the depth of her soul, to the poetry of her spirit, to the beat of her heart... to the tip of her eyes when she smiles, she is the strength of the humanity. we can all find in her words, the meaning of our silent feelings, those anyone can make them sink or suddenly save from shadows, out of shallows. Thousand of thanks to her for her songs.

This song has gotten me through some of the worst times of my life since I was in high school 10 yrs ago, where I was so close to ending everything, and I just knew after hearing it that there was more to life than what I thought possible. This rendition of it is absolutely beautiful and the story behind the song is part of what helps someone going through the same trials get through it alive. You are all beautiful souls that deserve to still be here no matter what you’re currently going through!
Sia has the most beautiful voice in the world, magnetic, really majestic, she is special and music goddess. I remembered Six Feet Under with this song, perfect mix. Fisher family and Sia
I simply love her. After suffering so much torture, addiction to drugs and alcohol, ups&downs in life I'm so proud of her for struggling and still be among us and shares her incredible and unique voice and laughs with us ♥ such a wonderful, rare, magnificent and inspiring soul and singer ♥ You rock, gurl ! Much love
She wrote this song on an evening she tried to comment suicide. Pills and alcohol. She's struggled and suffered. Sad. She still struggles with the demons in her head, but she's trying to face them in other ways. Love to you Sia Furler! ❤️
There should be a test that every singer has to pass... To sing Live without any autotune.. And only if they pass, then they can actually record & sell records. Like Sia... She's absolutely amazing! What an original, talented artist.. And she actually chooses the lyrics that she sings thoughtfully.
+Athra Babylon As someone who's studied opera, I agree with you! Back in the day singers would be extensively trained. If you couldn't do it, you just couldn't do it. End of story. Someone who had musical but not vocal talent would possibly play an instrument, compose or direct. Again, as someone who's studied opera, Sia is the one "pop" singer whose voice I am jealous of. So much emotion and power, she always hits her notes and has quite a range. I'm becoming a huge fan.
+Athra Babylon if people had to pass such a test, we would loose some of the most creative voices of rock and punk or metal. David bowie was alway a little beside the note, not perfectly in tune, but in a way that adds something to his expression. he did not have the best voice nor the most accurate one, but he was a good actor and his expression really added something great to the song. The fact of being overly judgy of the singer's technique as very much reduced the diversity of singing to opera alone before, and only recently do we rediscover a diversity of techniques - but mostly in male singers that are not so judged over their technique, people giving them the right to be in the spotlight even if they don't display the most academic skills. I hope at some point people will be able to not allow some weirdness and originality in females too. Sia has an amazing voice - but not all great musical artists have to.
No importa en que año, ella nunca dejará de ser aquella preciosa cantante que con todo su encanto se robó mi corazón, y con cada música en la que transmite miles de sentimientos... La adoro más

***** Oh right! But still living in today's times it is still nice to see!
This did happen like 8 years ago before camera phones were really a big thing. But it's just such a beautiful song.

My all time favorite part was at 2:00 when you can hear someone just say "Thank you, Sia"
Darren Allen yeah that moment is precious! Glad someone else noticed it too :) that means you really did pay attention to every detail of the performance
Sia is magical. I've been following her since 2008 and I'm still enjoying the ride.
Darren Allen finally someone who appreciates good artists.
+Paola Ademi
it's sad, facial defects or non standard facial attributes sometimes stop people from empathising with women and their art
Senhora e a tia mãe respeita
this song makes me cry every time .

Christeen Tranchina no she is just covering her face because of to much fame but ya you're right
She is kinda perferct on her way, deep look and pretty mouth, all this wraped in cuteness and sensitivity but not everyone is able to see that soooo, big wig...
Sara Cec she is perfect in my eyes...always was. A TRUE beauty in many facet
blue mage she also said she doesn't like when people are judging and commenting about the way she looks
Christeen Tranchina She's very beautiful. Who's saying otherwise. I think that she covers her face for a special effect just like her hair colour, etc
Six feet under a truly masterpiece and this music is a work of art
no performance, no song, no words, no voice, no soul, has ever touched me in this way. i am beyond words, and at a moment in the song found my self paralyzed by the feelings this created in me. i felt pain and loneliness like i had never before. sia, you are so powerful.
karla jaramillo Me too! If you listen to her music it's a kind of magic. I love her music
A mí también me pasa, Karla... Ya somos millones.
Watch Simpson finale and you will see what is power in the song
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
karla jaramillo me too!!!!!
"I am small... and needy... warm me up and breath me"
I feel it so deep.
:(
😢
What is very sad is that after she wrote this beautiful, and deep, song; she tryied to comit suicide.
@@besanzaz i can relate to that as well... the paradox is that through her beautiful and painful songs, she gives us voice to tell about our own pain...
@@ikitsunebi Well just as she has, endure, have faith, and move forward. Godspeed.
Why the fuck is this song not her most popular anyway.
Can't be played in a night club
+icedbunn89 sad but true
+Im Macie true, plus her song Chandelier and Titanium are what made people actually start noticing her (for some weird reason)
It was 7 years ago but not the type you play on the radio y'know
it was before chandelier btw
I cry whlie i listen to this masterpiece. How beautiful she sings
And then you find the song you always listened to in the many years of depression and selfharm. The song that takes your sadness, as if finally you are understood... On the many years I felt alone, this one took me through the days knowing I was not the only one going through all of this pain. Thank you for this music!
No one is calling her ugly in the comments but everyone is saying stop calling her ugly.
Right 😂
No one in the comments is saying she is ugly but enough people in real life have said it to influence her to cover her face to begin with. The hate most likely wont be on fan based videos but trust me its out there.
@@erikam5269 I could be wrong but she has said she covers her face for anonymity. And that's coming from her. I've not heard of her saying she did it because of physical criticism.
I could be wrong too! I've seen hate on threads but I do hope it's only for anonymity!
The ones who’s saying stop calling her ugly thinks she’s ugly
[Verse 1]
Help, I have done it again
I have been here many times before
Hurt myself again today
And, the worst part is there's no-one else to blame
[Chorus]
Be my friend, hold me
Wrap me up, unfold me
I am small and needy
Warm me up and breathe me
[Verse 2]
Ouch I have lost myself again
Lost myself and I am nowhere to be found
Yeah I think that I might break
Lost myself again and I feel unsafe
[Chorus]
Be my friend, hold me
Wrap me up, unfold me
I am small and needy
Warm me up and breathe me
Be my friend, hold me
Wrap me up, unfold me
I am small and needy
Warm me up and breathe me

One song that I cannot hear without bawling my eyes out.

Rahul Loves'ThePayne I started when the piano started 😢
Tell me about it! The one thing more emotional than sia’s voice is sia’s voice accompanied by a cello..crying my eyes out over here!
Me too the song means so much to me
I like "old" Sia. This song is one of my favourite songs *ever* .
Same Sia. You just need to look at it from another point of view.
I don't even like this kind of music, I only listen to drum&bass strictly but my mom used to listen to this in the car all the time and it just got me lol but yeah I get ya she's nothing like this now, sold out if you like but when you're an artist you have to to have a career from it unfortunately
Her music with zero7 is god-tier in my opinion...i hope that is what you are referring to.
@@ForeverMasterless tbh 1000 fof was amazing and you can't deny it. same quality as this, but a different style. also, healing is difficult is extremely overlooked.
I honestly cry everytime I listen to this cause it reminds me how hopeless and empty that one time of my life felt. I thought I had absolutely no one and a lot of people stooped talking to me without me knowing why. This kinda reminds me of how empty that feels but also gives me hope for a better future
Thanks Sia :)
You're amazing
Kunal Deo you are a light you shine bright and your light is for all to see ! You are perfect and I love you !
Need this woman in my life ❤

I know right! She's so talented :)
I love that she's not about the hair, or the make-up. She's all about the Voice, and what a beautiful voice she has
I listened to this song about 10000 times, thank you, Sia, for your talent ❤❤❤

Finally! I've been wondering what she looks like. I'm shocked. She looks and sounds (talking wise) way differently than I imagined, but it's her! Holy crap. This is the women who wrote songs that helped me realize I wasn't alone in my darkest times. Thank you, Sia.
I'm a male and love this song because after a relapse from being 3 yrs sober I heard it and took it for whatever it meant for me. "Help, I've done it again, I have been here many times before 😭, I hurt myself again today, and the worst part is theirs no one else to blame." That hits me so hard!
Still trying, fighting on & off with recovery. Pray for my sobriety please. I love you Sia! Love all you strangers also! We're all vibing together.

She's so Human. So deeply beautiful.

She wrote this song on an evening she tried to comment suicide. Pills and alcohol.
She's struggled and suffered. Sad. She still struggles with the demons in her head, but she's trying to face them in other ways.
Love to you Sia Furler! ❤️
Like me then , beautiful angel she is
Really!?😧
well maybe you could say that Music saved her
I had no idea but it makes sense that this song found me in that same darkness.
No she didnt look how happy she was and she always laughed
There should be a test that every singer has to pass... To sing Live without any autotune.. And only if they pass, then they can actually record & sell records. Like Sia... She's absolutely amazing! What an original, talented artist.. And she actually chooses the lyrics that she sings thoughtfully.
+Athra Babylon Omg yas! I was thinking that also!! ((Well wishing really))
+Athra Babylon I agree with you 100%! Its a perfect idea!
I'm becoming a huge fan.
what is this, like 1980. Everyone uses autotune today. And using autotune is not bad until until you are making your voice sound more like techno
+Athra Babylon
if people had to pass such a test, we would loose some of the most creative voices of rock and punk or metal.
I thought she never showed her face? I'm glad she did. She's amazing.
this was 2007 before she went mainstream.
