after watching this video i gotta say, her voice and expressions while speaking normally gives the image of a head-in-the-clouds girl, but when she starts singing... her voice changes completely, her expressions changes as well, it's like she turns into someone else more... mature. It's almost poetic, the childish girl that turns into a woman when doing what she's good at, and it's beautiful

She also explained that she wanted a touch of mystery in her performances which gave her the idea to use wigs to cover her face.

She was very popular internationally but in the US she was more of a song writer for the most famous singers until she decided to bring her career over here. She struggled with alcoholism so she took a break and when she got sober she came over, but she hid her face because she didn't want to deal with the fame craziness.
