That lobster preparation was absolutely fascinating! I'm from a New England, lobster fishing family, so I've killed a few lobsters in my day, lol, but I was always taught to boil them alive. The most humane way to do it is to keep them in the fridge for several hours to put them into a coma, and then when you're ready to cook, dunk them face first into the boiling water. It kills them instantly and they don't feel any pain. After the lobster is boiled and turns bright red, then we cut into it and separate the tail, the claws, etc. It's fascinating watching them drain the blood to kill it, and cut it BEFORE it's cooked - that never even occurred to me before. Thank you for sharing!
