There is no egg roll in Vietnam. The fried ones are spring rolls if you live in North East America. You can call the fresh rolls- Summer rolls or fresh spring rolls. But the fried rolls should be Spring rolls or fried spring rolls. we used to be so poor after the wars, a lot of family just could afford fried rolls occasionally, especially for Spring festival.
