Seeing the amount of time and effort it took to make this not only gives you a real appreciation of the crew that worked so hard on it, but also an appreciation for the full scale all out two hour star wars movies. Great work on the film.
Please give us another han solo fan film, you did well with the whole movie. from the acting as solo to chewbacca and just feeling like a real star wars film
*excellent job. You guys nailed it. Everything looked professional and more in tune with the original movies than anything I've watched latetly. and the music! The music is on point. thank you!*
Dude you would've been a bad ass Han solo. And I really hope if there any role for a Robert Williams you should do it man its put me to tears you would kill that part
Because its not just about looks. It's more about the sound and charisma and embodying the original Han as closely as possible. And besides I think he looks a lot like Han personally
Once again, fantastic job Andrew. I appreciated that you didn't emulate Ford and went with your own interpretation of the character. Look forward to seeing more work from you. Congrats!
That fan film was amazing & you did a good job as Han Solo. All the effort & hard work that was put into that project was worth it for sure! Keep up the great work Jamie & I'm looking forward to seeing more of your stuff in the future!
One of the main reasons I think this film works so well is the fact that you can tell everyone loves Star Wars. They stay true to the characters, while adding to their stories. Damn good job.
I couldn't believe it either when I realized it was him! He's very good at playing not only magical creatures for Guillermo del Toro, but he's also great at playing creepy villains.
So much behind the scenes content. I like how they show how a film is actually made. You never see this much behind the scenes content in a normal AAA movie studio extras.
very nice job! send a demo to Disney and Lucas, and maybe they can work with you all, even this actor for the next star Wars movie about Han Solo. The best I have ever see!
This video shows that even with a vast ammount of expensive sets, costumes and camera equipment it is not garunteed you will have a good film. That requires a good plot.
One thing I didn’t like about the film is that Han could’ve pushed the Harrison Ford voice a little more, but even still the inflection was spot-on. The speeder bike effects were also a little cheesy but that adds to the charm. The triviality of my nitpicks just go to show how well done this film is!
How did they fund this?? Honest question, if anyone can point me in the right direction, please do. I was always under the impression you can't fund a fan film because it's someone else's IP so you can't really make any money off the film.
Matchewawa Indiegogo crowd funded :) Disney loves for its fans to make fan films as you can tell there are a lot of them. You just can't sell them or raise too much money to make them or make something that discredits the franchise/property. We raised just over 20k to make this.
Jamie Costa wow that's really impressive that you guys pulled off a crowd fund of this magnitude. I was crowd funding a Harry Potter spinoff a while back and Warner bros got involved. I was under the impression that Disney lawyers were actually worse. We made some money to make it but we'd have needed an order of magnitude more to support something on this scale.
Seeing the amount of time and effort it took to make this not only gives you a real appreciation of the crew that worked so hard on it, but also an appreciation for the full scale all out two hour star wars movies. Great work on the film.
The production and the product itself are amazing. Great work!
Damn Jamie, you would of been perfect in the upcoming Han Solo film. A young Harrison Ford.
John Cho Yeah, I wonder if he auditioned
Dude, for half a minute I though you were cast as Han in the upcoming solo movie. The production value and effort...wow!
He should have been. It would have been a much better movie.
All that work for 13 minutes of footage. That right there is the dedication of fans.
The amount of effort out into this was crazy
yea it was
Please give us another han solo fan film, you did well with the whole movie. from the acting as solo to chewbacca and just feeling like a real star wars film
That's absolutely incredible and awesome! Brilliant work into a Brilliant fan film. Looks like an actual Star Wars film. Great job!
Bravo! What an amazing and talented cast and crew.
"This is the muffler.. of my car.." Now THAT is dedication hahahaha
Holy shit you guys actually got Doug Jones in on this???? The guy is a legend!!
Really loved the movie. It is so well made!
Looks more like Han Solo than the one they got from the spinoff
Because its not just about looks. It's more about the sound and charisma and embodying the original Han as closely as possible. And besides I think he looks a lot like Han personally
Once again, fantastic job Andrew. I appreciated that you didn't emulate Ford and went with your own interpretation of the character. Look forward to seeing more work from you. Congrats!

Really enjoyed watching this!
In the future, might we see an Indiana Jones short? That I'd love to see!!
Fred Adventures YES!!!
That is all I want...
Why are you not in the official Han solo movie???? :O
because disney made a giant mistake in casting this time....... Jamie for the win...
MrMalthe Because Disney sucks dick.
Now that's an amazing team to work with, everyone is so friendly and professional! I can't wait to see what's next, keep up the amazing work!
This dude should DEFINITELY have been cast for Solo!
Finally I've been waiting for this!!!!
Jamie is a mixte between Harrison Ford and Robin Williams. He's really a good Han Solo ! He must play in next Star Wars's spin-off !
what a great little film, I had no idea so much effort went into making something like this. Jamie is really great playing Han Solo too!
Whoops, totally forgot which was what and thought this was behind the scenes of the new official young solo movie. You really did nail it.
So great! Thanks for posting this behind the scenes video
love that we saw jadon still holding a boom pole. that's a producer getting things done.
Keeping my eye out for those future projects! =D Great job, Jamie and Han Solo fan film team!
i wish you did a whole movie because you are the perfect Han Solo.
Jamie is so great! I love this!
This was a great Star Wars fan film every bit as good as what Disney is doing, if not better. Jamie Costa is one helluva talented guy.
I wish they would have cast you to play the young Han Solo.
Wonderful Jamie, thank you for sharing! Must have been a great experience!!
You lot should be employed to work on the next star wars films, that was an amazing fan film and it's the best i've seen so far :D
amazing job on everyones part! really cool to see behind the scenes :D
Amazing. I wish you were playing Han Solo in the next film. Was so good!
Kind of has the feel of George Lucas and Star Wars in the 70's.
I think I prefer watching these then what's been released lately
Man..! You guys really give it all make this ,appreciate you're hard work
I need a shirt that says "ya wanna go beat up on those Jawas?"
The effort and production level for your short little film is amazing. You can really tell that you love what you do. Keep up the good work
Richly deserved kudo's for this labor of love and passion all involved shared with other fans!!!
One of the main reasons I think this film works so well is the fact that you can tell everyone loves Star Wars. They stay true to the characters, while adding to their stories. Damn good job.
If they were going to make a Robin Williams bio-flick soon, Jamie would be perfect for lead..... I see a lot of Robin in his face
Man, you guys! Loved the finished product, and sooo impressed by seeing the work that went into it. Just breathtaking, honestly
and it didn't require a 200million budget.
Word. I'd watch a quality project like this over a blatant money-grab anyday
effort and passion certainly make the end result shine.
I love how this footage includes some bloopers. Great job to all of you who put this fan film together.
God , this is great. The future's going in the direction of smaller indies like yourself , don't doubt it. I wish you all success & never quit!
Indies always find a way but the future was cast the day digital film burst upon the scene & became the norm.
Make more Star Wars movies! (:
WHAT!!! You guys got Doug Jones!!! That's freaking awesome!
I couldn't believe it either when I realized it was him! He's very good at playing not only magical creatures for Guillermo del Toro, but he's also great at playing creepy villains.
Dash rendar making a cameo made the whole thing for me
Lol, Jamie looked more like Robin Williams doing Robert Deniro than Jamie doing Robert Deniro.
Excellent. Superb team, all dedicated to their crafts.
How is this channel not at 1m subs yet, best fan film production on TH-cam
So much behind the scenes content. I like how they show how a film is actually made. You never see this much behind the scenes content in a normal AAA movie studio extras.
very nice job! send a demo to Disney and Lucas, and maybe they can work with you all, even this actor for the next star Wars movie about Han Solo. The best I have ever see!
Loved the storyboards.
this was the best fan film ever ! awesome work :) you should play the role Han solo in the star wars movies :) you a remarkable job
Better than the whole movie
Thank you for sharing this look behind the scenes. Hopefully one day you'll all make some of the other stories :)
So interesting watching the behind the scenes clips. Definitely a career choice I would have enjoyed.
DUDE.... THIS is AWESOME. ^_^
How in the world was he not chosen to be in the hollywood spinoff
Absolutely love it
You guys have inspired me to make my own short Star Wars film. Mine follows Poe Dameron though. Thanks for the inspiration.
This guy is the ONLY one who can play young Han Solo. Period.
Love the film!
you should be the one to be han solo on star wars: Red Cup
I definitely want to see a sequel, a longer sequel. The film was great!
this Guy is So HanSolo
You are such an awesome Han Solo
This is the guy who should have been used in the solo movie
I liked it great work so hard I think for you guys so Congrats.
this IS totally AWESOME. I wish I had worked on it also.
This video shows that even with a vast ammount of expensive sets, costumes and camera equipment it is not garunteed you will have a good film. That requires a good plot.
Robin Williams as Han Solo
Yup :) Best fan-made movie ever!
Brilliant!!
he actually makes a very good han solo
Awesome
Why can't this guy be Han!!!
Because Disney sucks ass
omg please make more
Amazing
I’d love to see a future sequel/ another Han Solo story or an Indiana Jones one!!!
This is so much better than what Disney puts out, at a fraction of the cost. It's a better plot than any Disney spin off.
a sequel anyone.
Applause for all of you! If you got the money you might as well do what you love :)
This is the true Han Solo film
I was kinda skeptical when I saw that one picture they released but now that I saw this I'm liking it more
This whole crew pull out that feel of star wars that disney couldnt with mega budget.
One thing I didn’t like about the film is that Han could’ve pushed the Harrison Ford voice a little more, but even still the inflection was spot-on. The speeder bike effects were also a little cheesy but that adds to the charm. The triviality of my nitpicks just go to show how well done this film is!
I wonder if you could do the Han Solo series in tbe novels. "Han Solo at Mos Eisley Spaceport". Just an idea. :)
Sweet!
How did they fund this?? Honest question, if anyone can point me in the right direction, please do. I was always under the impression you can't fund a fan film because it's someone else's IP so you can't really make any money off the film.

God Job!
This is WAY better than the sequel trilogy or Solo
3:41 Looks like Robin Williams doing a De Niro
Where do you guys find the money?
Are you gonna be hon solo? If so that's awesome!!! 🙌
If you close your eyes it sounds just like a younger Han Solo.
If they ever make a movie about robin Williams they need to get this guy.
