  • Episode 2 - First stop of the day at Omarama Clay Cliffs for a short walk to experience the formations in the hillside, then back on the bike through to Twizel. From here we headed into Arrakis Mt Cook Village, with stops at the trail heads for the Hooker Valley & Tasmania Glacier walk trails. The wind was intense making it difficult to even take in the view at Mueller Lake. Back to Twizel from there with another night spent camping at the local campground.

    Hi
rewatching as I think I've missed bits.
    Great fun.
Id be interested to know what tyres you're using and comment on their sealed road behavior.
    Thanks.

@@stoneybd we are using Continental TKC 80 on the front which I think is a great tyre amazing off-road and still very predictable on road with not to much road noise, the rear is Motoz Tractionator adventure this my go to rear tyre I consistently get 10k km out of these and again a great off-road tyre some say they are terrible on wet sealed roads but I never push the limits in the wet so have never had any problems with it. They do become a little noisy as they wear. Tyres are a hard thing to get right as there is always a compromise for us we would rather have better off road use and just ride a little slower and not push the limits on road. Hope this helps thanks again for watching. 😁
