Great comparison video 👍 The Cygnus is like a fine Wine 🍷 whereas the 200 is like a Bold effervescent Beer 🍺. The Cygnus just oozes class and refinement from it's looks, materials and even the sound of the engine (it sounds quieter and smoother even through my phone 🤳). The 200 looks and sounds Bolder, Tougher and Edgier in nearly every aspect. The Cygnus is a finely crafted Italian Suit. The 200 is a rugged cut of jeans paired to a set of boots and a leather jacket. I absolutely love the masculine look of the 200. It's more in your face and imposing (I believe that was the trend which Toyota was tapping into with this product). However, the look and feel of the 200 is simply peerless and timeless. I can't say I prefer one over the other, but I'll take the Cygnus any day.
Cygnus seem to have poor night visibility with the stock headlamps most users had to work on after market mods to improve lighting, the LC100 front design though looks more masculine for me than the LC200. LC 200 has better rear design but stands too tall. LC200 definitely better and newer look interior and tech while LC100 interior is more for the off-road diehard, wish you had done a review of the interior, take them off road and compare wheel articulation, 4wd gear engagement experience (LC200 4wd electronic 4wd switch vs LC100 manual 4wd gear engagement)’ overall drive and comfort experience etc. Nice review and looking forward to the next.
Michael Odhiambo true, my headlights on the Cygnus are upgraded to HID blue and very bright. I’d agree with the points on the LC100, but the Cygnus is not a typical LC100. Stay tuned for the next episodes and you’ll see the interiors and materials used in both. It’s surprising.
