It was...okay-ish, I liked the action, emotion, and that kiss at the end! That was one of the most satisfying moments I've seen in my opinion. The downside with it...ADRIEN SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO FACE HIS OWN FATHER!!! GAAAAHH! Thomas Astruc has gone too far this time! It's called "Ladybug AND Cat Noir!" That being said, it was still okay-ish. 50/100.
That's why he'll find out in Season 6. Him not being there is meant to set up drama.
@@dangerbuffrocky I don't want it to set up drama though, I want them to have a clean slate for the next arc! And according to the show bible that got leaked, he's NEVER going to find out his father was the villain, though there's still hope the new writers will have different ideas.

@@ethancox9737 how are you so sure about the supposed leak though? Also, setting up drama is crucial to create hype for the next season. That's just how it is. More seasons = more money.
@@Justapracticinghuman Maybe, but this kind of drama just feels like they can't come up with new plot hooks from scratch. And even if Adrien does find out, it won't be nearly as satisfying as him actually being there to confront his father.
This actually changed my view on the finale. Now that I don't look at it as the definitive ending, but set up for future plot points.
Even if it wasn't the definitive ending to the whole show, I still wish it had given the Agreste family more closure.
I'm glad i finally see somebody praising the finale instead of braindead people hating on it.I agree some points of it could have been better,but that doesn't mean the whole finale is exectued poorly. In my opinion it was a great finale with many cool secrets,scenes and meanings.
It felt way to rushed for me. They had many filler episodes that didn't get Adrian and Marinette anywhere, nor ladybug and cat noir. It was nice to watch, but the story didn't go forward. And why isn't Adrian asking more questions as to why his mom is back all of the sudden. How did he get back. What happened. So many loose ends. They'll need the whole of season six to close those up

Well I mean the destined fight between ladybug + cat noir vs Monarch was always the climax fight in our minds since he's the main villain. And having ONLY ladybug (or bug noir) fight him instead of them both and Adrien getting a big moment and stuff they just gave it all to ladybug and that just rubs us the wrong way I think

I personally think the wish was whatever Emelie wanted, just without him. Makes sense? I'll explain:
It's simple and has little to no plot holes.
If Gabriel really meant " I've ruined everything", then that might be the wish.
Reasons:
1. Emilie never wanted a statue of herself so instead Gabriel got one
2. She never wished to be brought back alive since she new it was just pointless
3. She wished for Adrien's happiness which were his friends for the time
4. She wanted Natalie and Gabriel to take care of adrien
Sacrifice:
Gabriel's life ( that is just dumb but ok)
He wished himself not to be alive (I honestly forgot english) since he needed to bring back Natalie (according to thomas) or because he knew he would not be able to fulfill her wishes ( remember bubbler).
I guess that is the wish 🤞

bro…Marinette knowing about what happened to Adrian dad and Adrian doesn’t even know is so beyond to me 😧! I wasn’t expected that to be the final ending…
It the end of an arc, but the start of a new one, one that is full of secrets that Adrien knows nothing about, hopefully he'll get to know soon
so the ending, marionette and adrien together.. is this real? like in the past it's always been like a dream, but is gabriel ACTUALLY gone, and adrien and marionette are ACTUALLY together?
Omg I know right! I was recently rewatching the last episodes of season 5 to remember and first saw marrinette and adrian holding hands and I was waiting for the part marrinette wakes up because its usually her dreaming but no it was actually happening and had to go back a few episodes to see how they went from “just friends” to them actually flirting with eachother.

I feel like the reason why the finale went the way it did was in order to leave some stuff for Season 6. Especially with Lila knowing everything. Which could lead into an arc where Lila exposes everything resulting into Ladybug getting backlash from the rest of Paris.

So when the new universe got recreated by Gimmi, does that mean everyone from the original universe died (like when Pucci resent the universe in Jojo part 6 ending) including marionette?
Nope, I don't think they died and were reborn, because it seems like Marinette does remember all the events from before the wish. The London Special must provide a proper explanation of the wish
