Bought these from you two weeks ago. Installed them this weekend on jack stands. The install was not fun and it took me a while. However, the new exhaust tone with my Gibson exhaust is outstanding!
+Steven Mahoney That's sick Steve! Installing Longtubes is far from a cake walk but once they're in, they are so worth it! Glad you're enjoying them, let us know if you ever need anything! - Will
Hey buddy I got some to just the headers and down pipe stainless works the only thing is no hardware to install them did yours come with new gaskets and headers bolts ?? If so ware do I buy the install kit at
SW doesn't provide a gasket because you reuse your stock gasket. If that bothers you. You can always run down to a ford dealer an pick up a set of gaskets. I have these headers and their exhaust system. No big deal nothing to worry about NOT an issue.
+STANGTHECOYOTE Personally, when I'm tackling an install as complex as this the last thing I want to do is pull it back apart again due to an exhaust leak because I cheap'd out and reused gaskets. Its my job to give my honest review, so when companies like Kooks and American Racing ARE including brand new gaskets- its something I'm going to point out. And ultimately I said- "not a huge deal". ;) -Justin
honestly for that type of money I'd get everything with borla so basically I'd be interested in going that route, sorry plus they have the same Warranty TO... well I think?
Is there any way to get the catted version and then buy the off road pipes or vise versa because I'm looking to run the Offroad set up but I'm in Texas so I need catalytic converters to pass inspection so every inspection i would simply throw the cats on there..
+KWRSV You really can't go wrong with either. The stainless works are a true 'long' tube header meaning the primaries are slightly longer than the kooks which are sometimes considered more of a 'mid-length' header. Traditionally a longer primary will put a bigger focus on torque production below the peak torque of your rpm range, while shortening the primaries will have the opposite effect. Another big differentiating factor is that the Kooks header does include their patented 'scavenger spike' which they say helps increase exhaust velocity- and that's the big goal when adding any "performance" headers/exhaust system. Ultimately both options will do a great job and both are built EXTREMELY well- Again, you really can't go wrong either way. Hope this helps! :) -Justin
Justin, the Whipple is how the 2015 should have been sold, blown ! Its fun, drives better than stock and so far has been trouble free 640RWHP w my Auto GT
+2011FordMustangGTCS That's a tough choice as they are both SICK Exhaust systems! I run SW personally and could not be happier. That being said, between those two it really is all personal preference! - Will
AmericanMuscle.com I'm leaning more towards the kooks headers because I have used them before on previous mustangs. I'll have to figure something out for the emissions though because of where I live.
but awsume video as always and I wouldn't have the patience lol so I'd be asking a friend or its going to be going to the shop! at least I'm honest LOL........
+BIKES BLADES/GUN'S I know that feeling all too well. Between you and I, I had a good friend of mine and his shop throw mine in, I just didn't have the time to do them myself! Well worth it tho ;) - Will

Stainless Works or Kooks? Tough choice. Is there a reason to chose one over the other?
