  • This week, we do some much-needed maintenance on our 2000 Mercedes-Benz ML320 - spark plugs and wires. I can attest to the fact that it does run much more smoothly after driving it since the plug and wire swap. Super easy job with the right tools!
    Thanks for watching!

      That’s what I said. Would have preferred step by step more than exposition.

    Thanks for the effort, but you kind of seem to have left out the most important part of the video... showing how to do it!!!! I am sure that's what everyone was here for!

    You know, to a handful of you saying “read the transcript” I shouldn’t have to READ ANYTHING on TH-cam. I came to watch a video showing how to do something, in order to have reference in doing the same task. If I wanted to read, I’d Google an article on the same task. And to you sir, just going forward, please show the work next time. Us humans do well with education by example. It’s a primary method of learning and teaching, and it has worked WONDERS over the years. Thank you, and cheers!

    Another video describing work DONE and not showing how it was performed, which is kind of the point of TH-cam videos, IMO.

    The wires on the passenger side are the same long wire on the A and long wire on B towards the fire wall.

    My spark plugs have 169,000 miles on my 1999 (ML320) at it runs like a clock and that's running the vehicle in Arizona......Change the oil every 5,000 miles and use only premium fuel and they last forever !

    • @redonKiLaus
      @redonKiLaus  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd definitely change them at that mileage, I am in AZ as well and go thru plugs every 50-100k with religious maintenance. Thanks for watching!

    Good video but unfortunately he doesnt mention that the boots are suuuuper stiff and you have to force them in somehow. Nor does he say specifically how he does it with so little room. Godd video though

      Old boots can be, depending on how cooked they are. Dielectric grease helps a lot, otherwise its just a heck of a lot of finger strength that gets them into place (same as some other vehicles out there). Thanks for watching!

      Yup 👍 strong hands with high heat & pain tolerance , just grab em and pull em if your hands fit , some people use long nose 90 degree pliers

    Hi, when you said the length on the driver side was long wire than two short then long at the end, is it the same on the passenger side. the long wire than two short wire than long wire at the end.

    Thank you for showing the tools needed for the job, the description was fine. It's plugs, nothing difficult. Now I know I can do my own. Tidy engine compartment.
