Hi is AM better than FM? My kid hide my key in home and am going to buy a radio to find it
I am using FM, but you cannot use this method to find lost keys because the remote doesn`t emmit if there is no button pushed
@@FixitEasyDIY my car is toyota prius. the door unlock when car key is close by. I think or the car or the key emit a signal to match together.

Not a must. You can try different frequency, but on my remote control worked on 88

@@user-sr9vv4fz3z You actually don't need to. The key fob will distort the sound no matter the frequency. Actually they are very different. Just try in some "empty" frequency, where no radio is playing, so you can hear the distortion. Try with a key fob that you know is working first to test it and go ahead. Hope that would helped.

Ще бъде интересно, ако се покаже дали може да се отключи автомобил от разстояние чрез телефонна връзка. Ако ние сме при колата и трябва да вземем нещо от вътре и в този момент се сетим, че сме си взели телефона, но ключовете за колата сме ги забравили вкъщи хипотетично, но имаме човек вкъщи на когото можем да звъннем и той да вземе ключа (дистанционното) на колата и да го насочи към телефона и ние същевремнно да насочим телефона към ключалката, дали ще може да се отключи? Ще е интересно... Поздрави!

@@FixitEasyDIY Според мен, няма да стане, каналът за звукови данни при телефонните разговори беше свит на около 3 килохерца, после следват дигитализация и компресия...

Hello there :) This is actually not an app. For this task I used the pre-installed app on my phone, called radio player. It is build in app for xiaomi smartphones, and probably there is something simillar for other brands. Try searching your device for FM radio player or something like that. Hope this wil help you.
@FixitEasyDIY unfortunately I have a samsung and there's no already downloaded radios.is there another way?
