You may know mad libs as a game from talk shows and celebrity interviews, but its format works fantastically well for ESL classes. Students are encouraged to think imaginatively and be creative in this grammar game, which will have them in stiches with laughter. They'll learn the difference between nouns and proper nouns, adverbs commands and adjectives - all of which will help them improve their understanding of grammar and grammatical forms.
