When he came to power everyone pointed at his father , but i immediately said that you could not accuse the son for the sins of his father , whatever you believe about Ferdinand Marcos , these were his deeds , not his son's !!!
I said it would be wise to give this President a chance , he should be weighed on his merits , nothing else !!!
So far i think he is doing well , he is smart in not choosing a side , except his own country , i think he might be a good President and this talk shows me that he is intelligent and wise...........

Time will tell indeed , however , although i liked Duterte's candor , his big mouth often soured relations . some things you just don't say. Marcos is articulate and he answered questions in a smart way.
Is he a sweet voiced politician , or honest , again , time will tell , yet he should be given the opportunity and the time then and not be shot down on who's son he is !!!
I said to myself if indeed the father did wrong, then let the son disprove and vindicate their name.

As far as I can observe and can relate between the reign of PFEM and those that followed, only PRRD came closest and the rest were trash and inept that were buoyed more by hype and spins rather than by accomplishments.
I believe PBBM can sustain and add more from where his father left out as well as to what PRRD started. He has all the time to disprove his critics wrong and he has a good start.
So far so good and history then will unfold with the truth from hereon.
I like how President BBM projects the country in the world stage. With The Philippine's greatest asset, its People. The Filipino people.

Hmm, it is true that the Philippines does not have territorial dispute with China. It is the Vietnamese, Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia that has a Territorial dispute with the Philippines. China has no business interfering the Asian Countries territorial disputes.

After listening to this interview, I can only compare his high command in english--his high level of grammar and dictions, the way he presents himself as leader of a nation. Now comparing all those traits to hnis predecessor who always seldom spoke english and always saying "P#I" "P#I" in between his words which is very embarassing being a leader of a nation.

The national interest in the West Philippines Seas with this president is to be submissive to China's whim. We have to beg for our fishermen to fish in our own territories and yet he could even articulate it with the Chinese.
Actually , the myriad video's of Chinese fishing in Philippine waters are false , fakes that have been debunked multiple times..... The most prevalent one shows not Chinese boats fishing in Philippine waters , but Chilean fishers at some traditional event !!!

It reminded me of the budol budol talk. US goes almost to bottom because of the previous admins who made China front and center in a blind sided relationship. He is just continuing what the past 2 admins ( Duterte and GMA) had established with China. This president is out of planet earth in his talks. We are mired in poverty with very high inflation and since the pandemic millions of people lost their job specially those self employed.The price of onion alone is highest in the whole world, basic services specially medical is almost non existent and corruption is all over with no accountability at all with the erring government officials. In fact with the Senate investigation of Pharmally alone, iits finding showed that the president was of the Philippines himself was involved but accordingly, members of the Senate refused to sign the report.
