They are bringing back powerhouses from the past as well, like oblivion and the knulls. Maybe they will bring back beings like Protege or MoD, two beings that had the potential for unlimited omnipotence. Tony Stark also becomes a Dominion AI in the meat gardener venom storyline, though we didn't know what it was called back then.

captain america will always be my favorite super hero. hes a man just a bit better than regular men. a super soldier with a near unbreakable will, who fights the good fight, not because he gains from it, but because YOU do. hes highly competent and his powers are great, but are often outclassed by the heroes around him, and even many of his enemies. but he doesnt stay down, he doesnt look away. he will die fighting the good fight simply because it needs to be fought. a shining example of what heroes are supposed to be.
All I can say is Tony's kid is bout to learn what his father had to learn the hard way at least 3 or more times over. He's just a Mortal Man in a metal suit

Saddest thing about The Matrix sequels for me was that early rumors stated the second film would feature "Collaborators," who are given power by the Matrix on par with Neo to serve as new agents. That would have been a brilliant allegory. Instead we got Western existential philosophy 101 for dummies.
I love these kinds of dystopian "what if?" future stories. I loved EARTH X and this reminds me of that. DC did a great job with THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS and KINGDOM COME. Others haven't always lived up to them, but this Avengers: Twilight story is pretty good so far!
