I feel like most audiences don't get the "got a case of the runs" part.
wwwK90 in singing "runs" refers to the changing between lots of notes really quickly (Sorry I didn't explain I that well, I'm not a singer) and while bo is saying "runs" he's singing runs
a run is basically a scale, where you play/sing the note one higher/lower and keep going higher or lower
It’s also another word for diarrhea lol
But it isn't a real run though because he doesn't get progressively higher or lower, he just alternates between two notes

The fact that the first part ends with “there’s people starving in Africa” is great because that means he started writing, got to that part, and then was like “yeah, that’s good enough” 😂

Aw, the last one was a bit slower than it usually is. And he kinda skipped a few words in the chorus. Makes me wonder if he's just getting a bit bored of the song, now. Especially since it's one of the songs he's expected to play at gigs.
Metakarp I don't think he was bored. I think he just really wanted to be in the moment. He was really the only one who knew he was stopping at the time. So it kinda was a part of his goodbye to sing it slowly.
All of this could still mean he's bored of a song. Like, considering it's been a long time. But he's also said that he doesn't want to rap anymore, so it could just be he slowed it down because of that. Which kinda ties into being bored of rapping in general, maybe not this particular song. We'll obviously never know, and I probably shouldn't be speculating. And yet, here I am doing that.
