    Original Jamaican old fashion country people style but it is the best way to make your Jamaican sweet potato pudding and u enjoy that with a cool glass of hand made ginger beer with nuff ice

    I have been thinking of different recipes to make with my potatoes because my kids are tired of my usual recipe. This is really nice. I love coconut so I will try this recipe.

    Whooo I so love sweet potatoes.
    Coconuts are so healthy they have water, oil,milk,flour you can eat them the way the are.
    I love caramel everything.
    Great mixture of ingredients
    I can imagine how it tastes ,nice pudding my sister

      When you want to see if its ready stick a bread knife in it. If the knife comes out clean then it is finished baking

    This sounds delicious!!! And you use “real” coconut as well! (I am never brave enough to buy it whole and crack it open myself, but it looks fun to whack it with a hammer like that!! 🤣)

    Flour nor corn flour belong in sweet potato pudding/pon. My 92 year old uncle said ghey made corn meal pudding aka conke and also cassava pudding all includes coconut and tannia (coco yam or taro), no one wasted flour or corn flour in pudding bcuz slaves could not afford to do such. They also boiled the puddings in banana leaves, which is known as ducuna and they were all breakfast food with meat, to go out in the fields taken with cocoa or coffee drinks. But you did okay.
