Dog bites on Friday evening..that time went to doc ..she cleand the cut area..it's a small cut..that time took TT..n next day morning around 11.30 a.m took 1 st rabbies injection..doc gave card..injection date is 0/3/7/14/21..

I was taking care of a female stray dog and her pups and had to adopt one of them because she had discarded him and stopped feeding him. The puppy (We've named him Chulbul) is 4 months old now and unvaccinated. While bathing him today, he lightly bit me. Although it was a very light bite, it did bleed a little. Just a tad little bit. I am planning to observe him for the next 3-4 days before going for the injection. What would you suggest?
Chulbul's mum is still very much alive. Chulbul isn't showing any weird behaviour or symptoms. Him and his brothers and sisters were under my care and were not bitten by any other animal. After I've adopted him, he has always been indoors or at the terrace with me and has never been bitten. I feed him and clean him every day (wiping every day with neem water and wet baths every 10-14 days), so I'm confident that he hasn't been bitten because I've never seen any bite marks or anything on him and there is no chance of him getting in contact with another animal, let alone an infected one. Some alarmists go overboard and crazy and I don't want to unnecessarily take the vaccine which will obviously have some side effects and cost. If he does show a symptom, even a remote one, I will sure as hell get it but not before that. What do y'all think?

Dr Gulshan... Outside my home a dog is their I use to take care of him....he is not vaccinated he use to have fight with other dogs and the next day he doesn't eat but the after day he use to eat properly...Does he get inflected by rabies ..just clarify it.
