I woke up and immediately got on to do the mission. I didn’t record the opening for the mission or black and white cutscene though since I had like 5 hours of sleep and was running on a V8 drink. I also messed up part of my recording, so there’s a few 1-2 second cuts because of audio issues.

Probably, we are going to hunt the remainders of Witness followers but the story? Its almost done, we just need to somehow heal the traveler and stop it from bleeding
I was expecting cayde would make some sort of sacrifice at the end of the campaign...... but this is still amazing and heartwarming...... i knew the trope they were gonna do and they still got me with it.
There was something strangely calming about Crow giving his report in the background while the guardian is looking at the traveler. I hope they do more things like that.
My parents bought me Destiny for PS3 back then in 2014, I was 12 years old… I still remember how scared I was while playing the first mission in the moon and watching the first cinematic of The Taken King. So many good memories playing D1 and then D2. Then my life got troubled and stopped playing before the first D2 dlc came up. I don’t have money to buy The Final Shape but it doesn’t matter. I’m so happy I played this beautiful game. Thanks Bungie and thanks fellow guardians for being part of this 💠
Ngl seeing ghost just flop to the ground broke me, we've been through so much together as a character partnership that seeing him actually die is heartbreaking, and Cayde sacrificing himself to let ghost live on didn't help either. Bungie tysm for these amazing past 10 years, onto 10 more
I'm so happy the did a snippet of "Bow to No one" in the final mission, which was in itself a great final mission with all our allies and the first 12 man activity
I had ever so much fun noticing the little snippets of all our allies' themes during the final mission - Bow to No One, the Neomuna theme, the Beyond Light motif (I presume for Misraaks), even Savathun's Song! (I didn't notice anything for Caiatl, though, which is a shame in retrospect. Maybe there was a Cabal Stomp section I missed)

He came back because of a wish and he was there for the final act and it was great, but like Cayde said, you gotta let go at some point, and we basically ripped him out of heaven. Also, this way, Cayde gets to go out how HE wanted to. He said throughout the campaign that not everyone gets to have a death with purpose. Some people die stupid deaths, such as going off to play renegade at a reckless shootout. This way he gets to give his life so we may continue fighting, THAT’S his purpose

Given the recent track record, I didn't have high hopes of Bungie ending things in a satisfactory way. I feared while waiting for the raids world first to be completed that the campaign would end with just "and a fireteam killed the Witness, here's a weapon" or something, but it wasn't that at all. The 12 player mission with every one of the characters we've gotten to know and love standing side by side, it was epic. The ending cutscene when Ghost fell my heart took a plunge. They wouldn't kill our Ghost right? We need him to play the game, they wouldn't do that, right? And then our Guardians pleading with the Traveler to bring them back and being met with silence was heartbreaking. And then Cayde showed up. Hyping up Ghost for being the absolute chad that he is before stopping for a moment, "My choice, MY Light" and when he begins to fade he says we were always his favourite and to never forget it killed me. I grew up playing this game and have so many fond memories. Starting the beta as a kid with my brother, deleting characters to replay it again and again and again. Playing together after school. Running Prison of Elders over and over for Strange Coins, beating Taken King and getting the exotic swords, being knighted as an Iron Lord is Rise of Iron(as much as bungie seemingly wants to forget it). Literally CRYING as we lost the city and Ghost panicking and crying out when he couldn't find us after our encounter with Ghaul, and bringing the fight right back to him, helping Osiris on Mercury in the Infinite Forest, finding Rasputin on Mars, and crying at Cayde's death in Forsaken. I will admit, I took a long break from the game after that because I didn't like the seasonal model Bungie was starting and only came back at the start of Witch Queen out of curiosity to see how the game was and, while I'm not a super huge fan of the shift towards ability spam and chaotic explosions of colour as opposed to the more slower paced feel of D1, I do not regret coming back, but do regret missing out on so many things. Okay, rant is over, if anyone reads this, I thank you for your time and hope you have a wonderful day and may RNGesus be forever in your favour when the exotic class items drop
It's been a genuine honor my friends. Even though I joined in witch queen I got to understand this community and everything this game was about. I really don't think I have enough words to describe how much this last 2 years have been for me but I can confidently say, it's been an honor.

Man, 10 out of 10... Or it's should be 11 out of 10! Let me explain, I loved this DLC, new changes of Zavala voice is great and probably I can hear "Ramirez, PROTECT THE BURGER TOWN!" all over again (or other lines from other series or games)... The Raid is definitely hard in first try race, which is better than fastest finish raid of all time... The final battle is perfect, it has Avengers Endgame element where everyone even frienemies joined our battle against The Witness, and also there Amphibia elements, we're not talking whole series but the final episode part, that part probably reminds me of the hero's sacrifice and Ghost used all the light and shoots the beam to The Witness, killing him but also killing ghost itself, makes you cry btw... The Ending part, The Lantern scene Reminding both Tangled and Genshin Impact, man, I forgot this lore but still they reminded this scene where we can sing "I see the Light" or just celebrate Lantern Rite? Maybe? And the Epilogue part, Welp, you guys entered the Part 1.5 story...
I'm disappointed we can't have this cutscene again if we were to play the *narrative* mission again. Mostly cause I wanted to record my guardian staring at the traveler as a looping background for my PC. Ig my screenshot will do...
I need to experience the death of The Witness myself, but after some loose ends are wrapped up, it's time for me to retire. I will still enjoy lore time with Byf, Myelin and Evade, the jokes I can see here and ect. I may drop in for a raid or two, but I am tired and I am going to let other Guardians in the future for the story to continue on.
I have no idea what Destiny 3 is going to about, but I have no issue with retiring here if I feel like it. Ever since the Destiny 1 beta, it’s been a hell of a journey

@Palidor19 No, it's a sad ending because after this DLC, I'm done, this is my ending because of too many bad past expansions have shown me that Bungie will cook one out of 3 times. This DLC cooked so my guardian is retiring at the end of Final Shape. If Bungie wants me to care about the future expansions, they better start cooking even more. It could've been anyone else, but no, we had to lose Cayde for our garbage annoying ghost that I've hated ever since the Forsaken. I would've rather had our guardian die and be brought back by the Traveler witnessing our funeral and literally everyone from humanity, eliksni, cabal, being there and the Traveler saw not just how important we are to it, but how important we are to everyone around us. But no, stereotypical sacrifice scene #953 for the greater good.
I somewhat wish the ghost did die. I personally think it would have made a better ending. Like cayde said, letting go. But they need to continue the franchise. Now I just wish I could let go... Also did anyone notice the green A posing fallen.

The final battle is perfect, it has Avengers Endgame element where everyone even frienemies joined our battle against The Witness, and also there Amphibia elements, we're not talking whole series but the final episode part, that part probably reminds me of the hero's sacrifice and Ghost used all the light and shoots the beam to The Witness, killing him but also killing ghost itself, makes you cry btw... The Ending part, The Lantern scene Reminding both Tangled and Genshin Impact, man, I forgot this lore but still they reminded this scene where we can sing "I see the Light" or just celebrate Lantern Rite? Maybe? And the Epilogue part, Welp, you guys entered the Part 1.5 story...
I'm disappointed we can't have this cutscene again if we were to play the *narrative* mission again. Mostly cause I wanted to record my guardian staring at the traveler as a looping background for my PC. Ig my screenshot will do...
Ive cried 4 times so far over rhis cutscene I believe, first time from playing it, other times from watching it again through reactions...

I need to experience the death of The Witness myself, but after some loose ends are wrapped up, it's time for me to retire. I will still enjoy lore time with Byf, Myelin and Evade, the jokes I can see here and ect.
I may drop in for a raid or two, but I am tired and I am going to let other Guardians in the future for the story to continue on.

@Palidor19 No, it's a sad ending because after this DLC, I'm done, this is my ending because of too many bad past expansions have shown me that Bungie will cook one out of 3 times. This DLC cooked so my guardian is retiring at the end of Final Shape. If Bungie wants me to care about the future expansions, they better start cooking even more.
It could've been anyone else, but no, we had to lose Cayde for our garbage annoying ghost that I've hated ever since the Forsaken.
I would've rather had our guardian die and be brought back by the Traveler witnessing our funeral and literally everyone from humanity, eliksni, cabal, being there and the Traveler saw not just how important we are to it, but how important we are to everyone around us.
But no, stereotypical sacrifice scene #953 for the greater good.
I somewhat wish the ghost did die. I personally think it would have made a better ending. Like cayde said, letting go. But they need to continue the franchise. Now I just wish I could let go...
