    How big was the first shark? 75ish lbs? I hate to say it but the normal shark seems to get smaller as the years pass but there’s definitely more of them being caught. I could stand to hook up to a 200+ but I don’t see much chance of that on the upper coast.

      Leader is a pat rig from terra firma tackle. It has a float so it suspends the bait off the bottom so lil sharks and trash fish dont mess with it.

    Great video. drone fishing has changed shark fishing that allows anyone to hunt for these bad boys. My buddy is a shark guide on Padre Island Tx. and he never lets clients video his drown. It is illegal on beaches but not over the water.

    hi love this video. ive been drone fishing off of hilton head. didnt have any luck. i noticed on the first big shark you caught it appears there is a bobber attached to the line in addition to the drag weight. is this correct and if so is it done to keep the bait off the ocean floor more in the strike range of sharks instead of bottom feeders? thx

      i fished off folly beach a few months ago and got a 7 foot sand tiger off the bottom maybe 220 yards out. The bite was good early morning, but around 2-3 hours past sunrise, the bite died off.

    Awesome production quality. I've always wanted to put lines in deeper water while on the beach. Can you use that same presentation, but with smaller tackle (like lighter line/leader and a large spinning reel)? I'm on the East Coast and the water is much clearer, so cable is tuff to use.

    I'd really like to see you go through normal casting set up for sharks and drum. I've never seen any of your rigging methods and I'm curious to find out. This would be a big help because I don't get many chances to beach fish but when I do I'd like to feel confident in my rig that it will hold up.

    I don't why there aren't any safety fishing posts staked into the ground as a safety to hook onto to prevent drag into the water.

    We'll be down to Surfside June 1 for 10 days. Can't wait to give my Swellpro FD1 a workout. Question for you - on the 1st rig you sent out, what's the black ball looking thing on the rig, a float? Are you using a float to keep the bait off the bottom?

      Yes, that float keeps the bait off the bottom. I use it because it prevents the bait from being messed with by unwanted species.
