My i30 elite came with this knob as standard. The reverse lever is also chrome. The chrome around the top actually peeled off it and was so sharp that it cut my hand.
Hey bro! Hope you could help me! I was trying to change the shift gear knob but the reverse trigger got stuck and it doesn’t move y can only get reverse and 3rd gear! How can I remover the plastic thing below the trigger? Thanks in advance!
Oh man that sounds frustrating. I have no clue unfortunately. But is the trigger your referring to the actual electrical switch going into reverse or the little "pull up on" piece that allows you to move the shifter over to reverse?
Honestly im not sure... I guess you could potentially eliminate the spring and the bracket for it... but id imaging that would then allow for you to accidentally go into Reverse instead of 1st if your shifting down.
I got them off amazon! both our Accents have these👍. Heres the link: I have to disclose this is an Affiliated link, and if you use my link I do receive commission. amzn.to/3pyj8XF

from experience on a different vehicle, Ive had one where the prior owner glued it on because it was loose and moving... Not saying that's the case.. but potential.???
@@EverythingAvron I did some research and it turns out that Hyundai started using pressed on knobs on 2019 elantras. I’m assuming same thing happened here. Since mine is a 2021 model
Thanks for the video man. I’m actually putting the exact same shift knob on my Elantra GT.

I atually had the same problem.
Thank you so much man! I couldn't find this info anywhere.
Thanks! Had an issue with the reverse/shift lock getting stuck after replacing ours though :(
Make sure you didn't screw it it too tight!
Me too, there doesn't seem to be a notch for the piece fall into for me
Did u find any solution?

Would the same knob work on a 2011 Getz?
Not familiar with the Getz but I know Hyundai does like to share parts across all its models so maybe? Sorry my reply is not much help
Do you know if I can change my knob to one without a button? I got an acrylic shifter but it doesn't have space for the button. Can I still use it?

I'm also interested to know if it works, did you test it?
Thanks for the video bro!
