Immigrants from Italy brought with them their unique food styles and zesty sauces and the American work ethic demanded portability, and thus was born the Breaded Steak Sandwich. The Ricobene family may or may not have invented it, but they certainly shaped it into a delicious, satisfying meal in a bun - a Gonnella Italian roll, to be precise!
