I'm a giant Knotts fan. One of my favorite routines of his was when they were preparing the restaurant in Three's Company and he was stymied by the wall paper and paste.
One of the best. When i watch two and a half men i noticed that That Jon Cryer must have been a big fan because he acts just like barney did. And when he had the little dummy of him on the show i remembered that Don was a ventriloquist in his younger days.
In 2003 we went to a Dinner Playhouse in Kansas City KS. where Mr. Knotts was staring in a play, ''Golden Pond'' ... We enjoyed seeing him perform , the food was wonderful also ( Prime Rib ) if someone was wondering 🙂lol
I met Don twice. Both at the Hollywood show in Burbank. The first time I bought a photo with Don signing it and taking a picture with him. The second time was a few years later at the same show. As I arrived i saw Don outside just about to leave so I walked up to him and asked his assistant if Don would sign my 8x10 and he said “ yea but it’s going to be $10 I’m like np i had the $10 already in my hand so i give Don the photo and he sees its the pic i took a few years earlier with me and him and he signs it and as I hand him the $10 he just says “ no no” waving his hand not taking the money. Does anybody remember Don Knots as The incredible Mr. Limp-it ? What a great first movie to watch at the Wyo theatre in downtown Laramie Wyo .
Yes. A WW2 hero. The reason I keep an aquarium to this day.
I'm a giant Knotts fan. One of my favorite routines of his was when they were preparing the restaurant in Three's Company and he was stymied by the wall paper and paste.
It's so nice to read positive things about a celebrity.
One of the best. When i watch two and a half men i noticed that That Jon Cryer must have been a big fan because he acts just like barney did. And when he had the little dummy of him on the show i remembered that Don was a ventriloquist in his younger days.
Can't ever forget ol' Barn! Legend has it!
3 Comedy Legends; Dave Chappelle, Conan O’Brien & Don Knotts! Not to mention, Andy Richter the Swedish German!
As a kid I absolutely LOVED the movie he starred in called "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken"....scary AND funny!
It was mesmerizing to me the first time I saw it as a kid. I never forgot it.
@@danabaker596 The Organ Music to this day takes me back to when I was a small boy and reminds how it got my attention back then! Cheers Dana!
Loved Don Knotts in The Incredible Mr. Limpet
True legend!
4 generations can sit around and watch the AG show and all laugh at the same jokes. That’s hard to do. Possibly the greatest show of all time.
In 2003 we went to a Dinner Playhouse in Kansas City KS. where Mr. Knotts was staring in a play, ''Golden Pond'' ... We enjoyed seeing him perform , the food was wonderful also ( Prime Rib ) if someone was wondering 🙂lol
"On Golden Pond"
Wow..he was still working in 2003.
The Incredible Mr. Limpet is an awesome movie!!! Don Knotts was the man!
What a class act.
Ahhhh. The days of $10 autographs. Now when you go to conventions it seems like they want like $40 or more 🙄. Very cool of him to just sign for a fan.
@@crazypiratesquirrel3038 your right. That’s why I stopped going. Oh he was so gracious. A real gentleman. Thank for your reply
Watching this I think back to all of the Andy Griffith episodes where Don Knotts took that show and ran with it, Barney as well as Don Knotts was a legend.
I think Barney's funniest "nervous" scene was when he lit the lighter next to the dynamite😆
Yes ! The goat 🐐 that ate the Dynamite was very good.
'The Loaded Goat'
He has always had a good appetite.
Eatin dynamite.....isn't that always the way it is.....first time you go up-town and you figure you have to do everything!
The audience still appreciates someone as classic as Don Knotts. One of my favorites of all time and part of my all time favorite show. #TAGS
Don is the Comedic Clint Eastwood
One of tv's best character actors & a good guy. R.I.P.
.....the only Cop I trust.
RIP Mr. Don knotts ~

Love you Don...God Bless, you made my life more fun
This just makes my heart--and face--smile--two of my favorites: Conan and Don Knotts, not to mention Dave Chappell! Great!
