    So glad I found this video! I saw the f-factor book at B&N and as I'm still struggling with 3 years of dieting turned disordered eating, when I saw it was written by an RD and based around fiber which we all know is a good thing, I really wanted to hop on one more time. But I refrained from buying the book at first and thought, "I'm gonna see what some of the RDs I know and trust have to say about this" first and, I'm so glad I did. If I'd picked up that book and seen things like that 3-bite rule and the 1200 calories, yeah, it woulda been a really bad slippery slope. Thanks for all you do! My insurance doesn't cover dieticians or nutritionists and my pcp is the type to blame everything on my weight, so people like you, Abbey Sharp, and many others are really helping me through this 💙

    I've tried ur 5 day challenge n kinda helped me to b more positive bout food Ryt now Im eating peanuts n I love it but still long way to go ✊🤞

    Man. As a vegetarian, I usually hit around 50 grams per day.

      Same! I eat 50-60g daily without even trying and my GI system is functioning the best it’s ever been!

    One of my fave high fiber snacks is buttered popcorn. ❤️ 🍿 Or sometimes I make popcorn with an almond butter and maple syrup coating. So yum!

    I’m a little bit confused at why insoluble fiber would help with constipation if it adds bulk wouldnt that just make me more constipated I know she did say that it can worsen things but generally speaking she said insoluble is the solution for constipation plus water.

    My doctor recommended a fiber supplement for me because I have genetic high cholesterol (all the good fluffy kind for now!) so she said adding it wouldn't hurt for me since I have this genetic predisposition for high cholesterol.

    Interesting as I have a chronic fissure and was placed on a high fiber diet but I don’t count I just try to have enough daily. Any knowledge on fissures and fiber?
