Just got to play the Boucher travelling out to Nova Scotia . A small local boutique guitar store ( G&G) and the guitars were spectacular! It was a privilege to play them. Only a rare few could compete with them. Bravo !
I have heard JP Cormier rave about Robin's guitars for years and I have heard many of his collection of Boucher guitars. Wonderful! Nice to hear Robin talk about them.
Very interesting video, Robin Boucher is a expert on building these amazing guitars, I am interested in purchasing a Bluegrass model, mahogany dreadnought, these guitars 🎸 sound like a cannon, watches alot of videos on different models, they all sound amazing, Boucher will be next guitar, one of the best guitars made.
If you call the shop, Robin will likely answer. If you visit the shop, you’ll likely meet Robin. Even if you’re a rank amateur such as I am, Mr. Boucher does not discriminate. His passion has resulted in the creation of phenomenal boutique guitars that are accessible to all musicians.
I really enjoyed my time with him. I usually sing wagon wheel at bluegrass jams (yes, I’m ‘that guy’) and that was his choice to demonstrate the sound of his guitars. Don’t usually get to sing with people I’m interviewing. So much fun
I'm getting one custom made by the original founder Claude Boucher (Normand Boucher's son and Robin's cousin). I'm currently in the line-up. Can't wait.
It was kind of funny when the interviewer asked ‘I wonder who figured that out?’ Robin Boucher developed the Process for torrifying Adirondack Spruce. Not sure he got that across very well.
If I am going to spend $6000.00 for a.guitar I want him to be a part! I have an S&P guitar the was better than a $4000.00 Martin? for a third or the price. They don't do custom request so I go with Robin!

I really enjoyed the interview. One of my better experiences at a trade show.
I played one today,
True works of art, just outstanding, make production guitars look lame
@@ralex3697 What do you mean by production guitars?

Robin is very humble. I’m not surprised that he didn’t need to take credit
Robin Boucher talks about what happens to Lignin in torrefaction.
