compared to Cytus's other fast paced maps, Halcyon is one of the most slowest in the game, thus making it hard to time after playing a bunch of fast songs; but yeah, Arcaea is clearly harder as Cytus's map is mostly made up of spam taps
I see people saying arcaea is harder, but that Cytus level is extremely difficult. When the notes are bunched up like that it's hard to hit all of them accurately. Just because it's slow doesnt mean it's easy. I find the slow hard levels to be a pain.

Since I like playing rythm games that doesn't flash a lot of things in my face all at once, Cytus really irritates me. You know, that thing whem you reach a certain combo and it just blocks my view? I always (usually) break my combo after that.
Respect to the arcaea players tho, the games is very hard compared to cytus (i million mastered most already expect freedom dive lmao its just hard), broke my fingers with those overlapping sky inputs
Yeah, Freedom Dive Hidden Remix (in hard mode, obviously..) is the ONLY song in Cytus1 I can't clear, with even a C rating. I've come close & I will someday. Oh & I'm a thumb player in both Cytus (and all the other Rayark music games, which I play..) & Arcaea (the only non-Rayark music game I play..). Needless to say I can only do semi decent w/Arcaea hard songs. ha. 🎶🖤🎶
Arcaea is hard for sure. That's a fact but if you want different difficulty you can check dynamix too. It's such a fun and hard game like arcaea. Or if you have pc you can check osu!.
