Wife and I used to get the same "high" feeling when going to WDW. Not anymore. WDW is very tiring, expensive and make you wonder when this madness will end.. But entering a cruise ship, that "high" feeling always come back with each new cruise ship boarding and stays with you during the cruise.
Hi George! I definitely enjoy that same feeling! Nothing better that cruise day! We definitely still love Disney. We live very close and are passholders. Sometimes we go just to have a snack. Thanks for posting these Harmony videos! I will be sailing on her this coming Nov for 8 days to the SO Caribbean. So excited to sail on this ship! I got a little taste of my first royal cruise in May of this year on freedom of the seas. This ship looks like it has 10 times more stuff in every way. Also very interesting how you said people are not in a rush like they are on shorter sailings. That makes a big difference.
You will have such a great time on Harmony! We enjoy making the vlogs to share with you. The 7 night cruise is definitely much more relaxing than a 3 night. Take it all in, enjoy all the entertainment and dining options and just take it easy! Thank you for watching 😎! Seeeee Yaaaaa!!

Just got off the Symphony last week and had the same exact issue with the “My time” dining as well! It was a nightmare even with a “reservation”. We ended up switching ours to set dining and will be doing so going forward on any Oasis class ships I do in the future. Definitely learned my lesson hahah. Booked on Harmony for next year!
Breakfast in the dining room was the same thing too, a long line everyday. I think royal should let you wait list for a table on the app and just send you a notification once your table is ready

I was on the MSC Seascape….i loved it! What’s pretty cool about MSC is the number of European passengers aboard…. Will Jake like it?? If he likes cruising, probably…..i would def go on MSC again…….so far i have been on carnival & royal……looking forward to trying celebrity…….but overall….I’m a big Royal fan! Love your vlog!! I’m hoping to sail this week on Harmony!
Yes we have sailed on MSC Meraviglia. The ship was beautiful but the service wasn't great. I definitely think they were short on crew members. We would like to try MSC again. We have done Disney and it was great. We definitely prefer Royal Caribbean as our favorite so far. Royal definitely has excellent service and so much to do! Plus CocoCay is awesome!! We are sailing on Mariner of the Seas in a couple weeks! Can't wait to share our adventure with you! Jake is excited! He is a great cruiser! Thank you for watching 😎

My cruise plans have now changed…..i will now be going out this week on Celebrity Equinox…..I’m looking forward to this….as this will be my first celebrity cruise……my coworker will be sailing on Mariner at the same time …..so i guess we will be comparing!! Hey guys, I cruise with Royal Caribbean all the time and it is so far the best cruise line in my book. As far as the Aqua show is concerned or any show, they will only allowed reservations guesses into the show up until, I think, 10 or 15 mins prior to the show starts and after that, they will let guesses without reservations to enter the show. I think and according to your video, you guys came a little late because the show already started, there were no more seats available because of all of the none reservations. Hopefully you get to catch another one with better seats. Love your contents btw.

Hey, you guys! This is Maureen, commenting on my hub's account and wanting you to know how great this video is! We are looking forward to our cruise in November on the Odyssey, so this gave us a bit of an idea on what to expect. Question, though...we also opted for the My time dining and are wondering how long that line was and if there was a line every night. Cannot wait to see the next videos! Keep on having a wonderful time. Love your family vibe!
The My Time dining was a bit frustrating!! The first night was the worse!! Lots of confusion with the crew members. We ended up requesting the same time and table each night and they told us no problem. Unfortunately it was a problem the next time we came to dinner. They said they couldn't give us the same table so we had to move. We were lucky enough to have our favorite waiters a couple times only. I hope you have a better Main Dining Room experience on the Odyssey!! Thank you for watching!! I explained some of the frustration in the next few vlogs! 😎

@@MedlingWorld We actually do have my time which usually works best for us. I will probably go to a specialty restaurant the first night. We pre-purchased the 3 night dining pkg. My other half keeps telling me to cancel it since she noticed there is so much free food on Harmony, but I figured…why not! After all we are celebrating my 50th.

Could you please tell me what items had sesame and how she avoided it? We are boarding harmony next month and my 5 year old has a severe severe sesame allergy which is causing me to worry
Our experience with the head chef was excellent. He explained that during our cruise none of the food items contained sesame oil. There were some items that had sesame seeds and it was noted so Roberta would not eat those items. Hummus and some baked goods did have sesame. If it's severe I would recommend talking to the head chef so there is no cross contamination. Roberta is allergic but not severe. This was our personal experience. Thank you for watching! How long did you all have to wait for your reserved seat while doing my time dining?
Hi Laneisha! The first night was definitely the longest. We had reservations and it still took 30 minutes. It got better as the cruise went on but lots of confusion with the My Time Dining. I definitely prefer the later seating and having the same table each night. We did end up going to Windjammer a couple of times and the Solarium for dinner as well. They were both fine. The Solarium is a combination of a buffet and having a waiter bring you a main entree . It was good but the menu does not change. I have a vlog coming out this weekend where we ate dinner at the Solarium! Thank you so much for watching 😎!
