I love these kinds of videos - and this one was great! I had to have a chuckle though when you started talking about how expensive breakfast is. Where we live on the west coast of Canada (Vancouver Island), we can't get anything for breakfast for less than $20, and most items like eggs Benedict or hash are $24, so yours still seems pretty cheap for us. The 3 of us went out for breakfast on my birthday at a place called Jam Cafe in Victoria, and with tax and tip I was in for more than $100 🙃

I watched your utopia of the seas embarkation day and the Wish embarkation day (were cursing utopia ship in march) and I must say I’m a massive Disney fan but am slightly annoyed for y’all watching this. I wish Royal would have no music in the morning hours until 11am. I think that would be a good compromise. While the people that were partying the night away the night before are still sleeping and get a late start. Other morning people that want to take walks and watch the ocean in peace and quiet in the morning can still do so. My husband and I typically get coffee, take a walk around the pool deck, and then take a morning swim on our other Royal cruises but on Utopia we were hiding from the pool deck music that traveled everywhere. It’s just sooooo loud. And we have 2 more Utopia cruises scheduled. I really hope they tone down the music and make changes for a compromise. We love fun and dancing but the early start and sheer volume was too much! We still love Royal and have several cruises scheduled in the next few months. Just…. Royal…. Please, make some changes and compromises. 💕

This reminds me of the Norwegian cruise I went on several years ago. Not advertised as any kind of party ship, but the entire week it was loud and chaotic. I can't deal with that. I want to have fun and don't mind the music at the pool, but I also want it to be relaxing. The good thing is cruise ships are so so large, you can enjoy in other areas. I think I'm with Roberta. I'm thinking of it as a family vacation. Matt - human soup! LOL! Belly Flops 24/7! Great review as always... where are we going next?

We have a cruise on Utopia in 10 days. Loved your vids to figure things out. Coco cay is our favorite place! I got the wife a cabana for our sea day.

We cruise only Royal and I have the same issues with the music being way too loud everywhere. You can’t sit anywhere and just have a nice conversation.

I was going to the Mason Jar until I saw the price way over priced

Roberta is spot on with what we have seen and heard! I’m sure it’s great for some people but when you leave the pool deck we should not still have the music piped in. There is nothing wrong with loud music but you should be able to step away for a moment. Great review guys!! Love getting a womans /mom’s take on the review especially with our two boys.

Roberta is the queen! I agree about the main pool craziness.

I feel the same way as Roberta. The pool deck constant partying and loudness really put a damper on our cruise. We loved so many other things and have a couple more Utopia cruises scheduled since it is a new Royal ship that does 3 night cruises out of Port Canaveral, not because it’s a party ship. Hopefully by our next cruise they will at least lower the volume and take some pool deck partying breaks. And we loved the Park Cafe as well! 😊
