I would like to thank Jim for his service in the war and for showing his collection to the public. Most people don't want the public to know they have collections that are worth big amounts of money, but I think Jim is very proud of his collection as he should be! The world would be a better place if the World War II generation was still around! I'm a collector of RC cars and diecast! Loved the collection, but enjoyed his stories more than the diecast! God bless you too Jim to live a long and carefree life! Not only do you deserve it, but you made it possible for the rest of us! THANK YOU VERY MUCH JIM!!!!!
Please express to Jim,our most heartfelt thank you for sharing his awesome collection! Some models are so rare, that maybe he doesn't realise. Will be looking forward to see the Big Rigs! Thank you for taking your time to bring us such amazing showing!
+Carlos Dacosta Yeah, it's the same with real cars too, like people leaving Plymouth Superbirds rotting in their barn. Just another car to them, they dont know that its a half-million dollar car.
I watched your video from Las Vegas Nevada and it inspired me even more. thanks for showing us your collection Jim! O-dawg thanks for keeping the drive to collect alive
My parents had a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang model. I need to acquire one for myself as theirs is long gone. Those old metal/tin toys are fantastic to have in his collection! That's pretty neat that he got to drive a real truck with eight axles. Awesome ambulances!
+Luigitime27 Yep, that's how it is with a lot of diecast collectors. No matter how many collectors are out there, not a single person has the same things another has. And everyone has no end of knowledge about particular subjects, brands, or cars and wont hesitate to share all of that informaton with you.
Hi Jim, thanks for letting us see your collection, it really is amazing. Incidentally, I live in Liverpool, England, as you probably know, Dinky Toys were made here by Meccano Ltd. Best wishes from the UK.
Thank-you so much Jim it reminds me of my collection from the time before and during my first marriage, all no longer in my possession, thanks for the memories
Jim, God bless you good sir for your courage and your service. To me your are hero and it would be a honour to meet you. A hero that you are, you have fought for a life we all take for granted. To me You make collecting totally cool... you bring class and prestige to collecting. Thank you for sharing your passion Jim. I enjoyed every second.
That military collection in the first video was just amazing! More then the collection, I am honored to hear Jim's story of his life, what a great man! The rest of his collection is just beyond belief, wow!!!
Thanks Jim for your sacrifice and service to your country and thanks for sharing your collection, it is awesome and amazing, thanks to you wtffor for sharing this amazing person!!!
Yes he truly is a part of history, in fact he helped shape our world in a way. I was recently informed that Jim is one of only 22 remaining Second World War Veterans in my city... so if you know of one in your area take in their knowledge and tales if they are still telling them. Thanks for the comment! Jim will appreciate it as well
Great collection. With the layers of dust and cobwebs you can tell many of those have not been touched in years. The last two years my main focus has been on the vintage stuff. Nice to see a collection like this.
I’m five years later, wow loving the collection, I would of like to see more of the military section, I mean like each of the pieces. But really appreciate the gentleman showing you his treasure, I think this pieces give us longevity, it’s like something that cheers us up, my collection is very tiny, but I find like peace on it and excitement when buying new pieces. I hope he still alive and enjoying his man cave. 🙏🏽

Man ,that's insane,,, I love what he have there, man seriously is the most amazing collection I have ever seen. I collect too some of the matchbox, I love matchbox, but what he have there is amazing. That should be taken to a museum or some place to be displayed for everyone. Thanks to sharing with us. Jim you are amazing man!!!

I really like the amount of vehicles that Jim has collected. Just some amazing looking vehicles in such great shape. I hope to have a collection room just like his in the future. Thanks for sharing your collection Jim and O-Dawg.
I was the 1,000 like, lol.Jim seems like a Great neighbor and friend. What a collection, wow!Great video,it was very interesting and this is my third time watching it.
The hole in the bottom of the cadillac ambulance was for a battery holder which would power the flashing red lights on each corner, and the roof top light. I know this as my dear aunt Vi bought this for me Christmas early 1960s. Great collection Jim, God bless... 😋
Great collection Jim. It is amazing to see so many great pieces together The red Thunderbird car next to the Corgi Batmobile was actually from the Tv Show Las Vegas and not Elvis. They did an Elvis car but it had a pink color. The Red Thunderbird has a missing antenna that was located on the back and was the same that was used by the Batmobile. Also the White car, Volvo P1800 that had the Saint on the hood was from Corgi as well.

I am a hot wheels and matchbox collector I only collect new cars tell Jim he is so cool and his collection is priceless also I am watching from Georgia in USA
i had a Hot Wheels set for Christmas in 1969 with a motel, garage . the cars would come down the track and through the archway/ tunnel of the garage , where they would be met by 2 foam rubber wheels which would give them extra speed and send them round the loops . Hot Wheels came over here in around 1968/70 to compete with Lesney /Matchbox Superfast , and Corgi Rockets .
Hi Jim, This is Animesh from India let me tell you that you have a real awesome collection. We are a small group of collectors based in India and collect Hotwheels,Matchbox,Greenlight,Tomicas.Really loved seeing your video.
I'm not sure if jim will ever see this as i'm 2 years late comment wise, but this collection is one of the coolest in every acspect that i've seen on youtube. the rareness age and variety to every car is awesome! If I could i'd gladly send some military vehicles to jim (if the canada shipping isn't ridiculous) and thanks for sharing wtffor!
Meccano owned dinky and hornby dublo. SAMs car was probably something from the Gerry Anderson series UFO. Chitty Chitty bang bang was made by corgi, was and is an expensive car to buy mint. Loving your cars Jim. Thanks for sharing this lifetime passion with us. Love your bikes.
Great stuff! Pretty sure that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is a Corgi. I used to have the Batmobile and Monkeemobile, and lusted after that Chitty Chitty car for a long time. Never got one, though.
A great collection that I have many of, Jim is an inspiration to us all that life does not stop just because your getting older. Canada is only other place I would live and I can understand why Jim moved there.
That collection of Jim's is just amazing. Thanks for sharing. The trucks Jim said he drove at 6:46 - those are AEC Mammoth Major 8's. The car at 7:30 is a Triumph 2000.
Jim, I hope that you're still with us in 2018. I must say that you may have a collection there. I'm an old timer also and I lived in a medium sized southern city in the US as a youngster. Finding Matchbox dealers wasn't a problem, but finding a dealer for Dinky and Corgi was a real problem. Fortunately I would find myself in a larger city, Tampa, during the summers here in Florida. There was several small dealers, but the best was an upper class department store called "Mass Brothers". They had Dinky toys of all kinds. I would save up my money during the year just so that I could go to Mass Brothers during the summer in Tampa. One thing that was a problem for me was that both Dinky and Corgi toys were not cheap. This fact kept these toys out of the hands of many children and this increases their rarity. I still have quite a collection, though not as large as yours. Jim, you and I have got an issue arising. What are we going to do with our collection? We can't take them with us. I enjoyed both part 1 and 2 of the video. I wish you all of the best. Cheers, mate. I'm an old sailor, too.
William, thank you for the message to Jim, I will pass it on to him as he is alive and well in 2018. He does not have any plans that I know of for his collection, other then enjoy it for as long as he can. I am very glad that Jim is doing well. I hope that all is well with you, also. You have a great personality and I appreciate the fact that you find the time to have a friendship with someone who is in their senior years. We are living history books, after all, and there's much that can be learned from us. I know that Jim appreciates your friendship, too, as loneliness can be a problem with many of us old folks. Personally, I know what should be done with my collection of metal vehicles as well as my pretty extensive collection of 1940s and 50s O scale and HO scale trains. I have no one to pass them on to, but I just can't seem to find the motivation to do what it takes. If I were to liquidate, I'd feel as if I had lost a part of myself. Jim may feel the same way. Our collection is a part of us. Again, I send best wishes and many days of good health and happiness to Jim. wtffor, I wish you the same. I'm subscribing to your channel, you deserve at least that.
