Advanced Eishin-Ryu Iaijutsu Katana Sword Techniques - Sakagami Bangai (坂上番外)
Sakagami Bangai (坂上番外) was passed down by Eishin-ryu 2nd generation grandmaster Kameo Sakanoue (坂上亀雄 先生). This set of advanced techniques are practiced after one has learned and mastered the basic techniques in Seiza No Bu, Tatehiza No Bu, Okuiai, To-Ho Waza and Batto-Ho Waza. This is a practice method allows one to utilise the skills in sword drawing; sword sheathing; body movement; sword movement; the use of tightening and loosening of the hands; the change in fastness and slowness; as well as the variation of strengths in different movements within the techniques.
英信流廿代目坂上亀雄先生(長崎)伝承の「坂上番外」。 正座、立膝、奥居合、刀法、抜刀法を習得後、正式な技と演練。 抜刀、納刀、運体、運剣、手裡の締め緩め、遅速緩急強弱を悟る事が出来る稽古法。
