I heard the song recently, which led me to the movie. I really enjoyed it! And developing the story, with WWII as a backdrop was great and unexpected. We were all rooting for Tommy to come in to his own. He finally did! I imagine he returned home a war hero, and enjoyed a long happy life with Becky, and their beautiful children. ❤❤❤
