I did like the time that King Charles took in inspecting the guard of honour and communicating with the troops. Many years ago I was the Sgt Major on parade of our school cadets and used to get quite peeved when a visiting military officer inspecting our guard of honour would rush through without really inspecting the guard of honour. We used to spend hours preparing, ironing, boning boots, shining brassware etc., and most often felt it a waste of time. Good on him for acknowledging their presence.
Well. I liked the Scottish Pipers and you can keep this clown King. His Mom was the Anchor to the people. Not this person. His Sons will make better leaders of the people. Just sayin...

The King costs very little. Easily made up, and far, far, more by the tourist industry and videos for the delight of tourists such as this. Where do you think the Government gets ALL its money from? Taxing the rich? You’re sorely deluded. The Royal Family works hard and is an immense attraction, delivering the sort of revenue needed for heating our homes, never mind protecting us and the millions of benefits it does its best to provide. That is every Government’s job. Some do it better than others but for sure definitely don’t need people like you running it down on a global platform, and demanding perfection for everybody.
