    Awesome. My R1 Ceramic pads just came yesterday. I would love to get 034 Rotors, but that was out of the budget. So I also got the R1 rotors.

      I'm very satisfied with the stopping power and the vew low noise of the r1 pads.

    Time for some new rotors and definitely thinking about purchasing these rotors. I'm deciding on which pads to get but not interested in changing them in 5 months. I'm leaning on getting factory pads because I use it as daily driver. My S5 has a Weistec stage 2 with CTS cat and turbo inlet, AWE intake with touring exhaust and Wagner tuning intercooler with charge pipe. Performance is bananas. I also have everything 034 as far as suspension is concerned. Keep up the good work.

      The rotors work great with factory pads 034 stated. It's the amount of brake dust why I changed from factory pads.

      Quick question for you...how long did it take for R1 concepts to deliver your order? I'm trying to get the same setup that you have.

      @@leightont6995 I ordered them from Carid on Dec 15th and got them Dec 23rd slight delay so a little over a week to get them.

    Looking at getting these rotors as an upgrade with different pads. As far as the rear goes you mentioned something with the OBD and electric lock? Any detail on a scanner I could use to do that / how to? Appreciate it and great video

    Great video, is there any additional noise noticeable with the slotted rotors?

      No but my brake selection will make a little noise when cold

    I see u got S logo on the rear caliper. Mine isn't like that. Where did you get that cover on the rear calipers?

    • @StreetRyde

      They are stock. I'm not sure why you don't have an S on yours.

  • @dwayne8667
    @dwayne8667 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Was there a noticeable difference with these? The stock s4/s5 brakes are not the greatest and I'm looking to upgrade.

    • @StreetRyde

      The pads are not really for and track racing like auto cross or road course. However, they are great driving street pads. The dust is low and stop bite is greater than stock. The rotor will help with heat which kill the stock pads. If your looking for a very aggressive stop look at Yellowstuff pads with these rotors but be prepared to have a ton of brake dust

    hey mate, are you getting rust line around the hub where the pad isn’t making contacting with the rotor - most of these aftermarket rotors aren’t zinc coated, so when you wash the car the rust ring remains

    • @StreetRyde
      @StreetRyde  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey what's up, what I can tell you is since I have had this brake set up I have washed the car about 4 to 5 times and there is no rust anywhere on the rotors that I can see.

    Is there a wear sensor on each side of the car? Or only one in the front and one in the back?

    I'm disappointed. No brake clean? Get things tidy before you start. I'm just fuckin with ya homie. Good job. P.S.-next time put some anti-seize in that hub surface. Dork! 🤣

    How did the Yellow stuff served you and how many miles did you have it for?

    • @StreetRyde
      @StreetRyde  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure the mileage I had the wheels but you can look at the video dates to tell the time frame. They were about don't when I changed them out. And I was glad to be out of them. Performance wise they are great but the dust and noise was too much for my liking. So far loving my new break set up. Review video coming soon.

      @@StreetRyde Wow they were done already, it's only been 5 months. Was the noise worst than the OEM? OEM was dusty AF already.

    • @StreetRyde
      @StreetRyde  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@raix63 image OEM noise more consistent with each brake push and a little louder. The brake dust was not as bad as OEM. OEM is terrible when it comes to dust.

      @@StreetRyde okay good to know. I was afraid it’ll be as bad as the OEM. I’m about to switch the OEM pads to yellow stuff tomorrow. Thanks!
