K I just have to say how cool it is that she went so far in depth with this video!! She did research and genuinely worked hard to make this apply to actually wearing glasses!! Usually when youtubers do anything glasses related (especially sponsored) they phone it in and do a very basic makeup tutorial and throw some glasses on top or go so far out there and it makes it very apparent they don't actually wear glasses regularly (when has having a matching pair of glasses for every outfit ever been realistic 😂😂).

As someone who wears glasses, I buy all my glasses from eyebuydirect (actually found the website through Mallory 😂). I have bought about 9 pairs (literally a frame that goes with anything). you can find anything from super cheap to high end!
Katy Elliott how do you switch between them, it takes my eyes a day or two to adjust to another pair with the same prescription, just because of differneces in distance from the eye, angle, lens size, etc.
RosieWeasley My very first pair took a long while before I adjusted, but after that it was easy. I switch from pair to pair everyday (sometimes more than once a day) that I think I had just gotten used to it. I also have a pair of sunglasses, and those are the only pair that take my eyes awhile to adjust to (and from)
RosieWeasley this is first time in 25 years of wear glasses I have 2 pairs. It was weird to switch from between pairs first, they are totally different shapes so they wear differently. But with a little of time I can switch back forth no problem.

Ashley ikr? Taylor puts a genuine and daily glasses wearer to shame with AL the different looks she comes up with. For cassie it's always that one look, warm coppery/orange/brown eyeshadow and that's it.

Taylor off topic question here is the lightest shade of the L'Oréal pro matte to dark for you? The second lightest shade is to dark for me and I'm usually about a shade darker than you
Lindsay Drake if youre yellow check out maybe the 2nd shade and lighten it with a foundation mixer or light concealer. im lighter that taylor but i bought the 2nd shade in the pro glow and mix in a bit of the hard candy glamaflauge (spelling?) in the lightest shade and it lights pretty much to the perfect shade. go for undertone then lighten to your shade if its too dark

I have terrible vision without my glasses so what I usually do is put my glasses on top of my head instead of a hairband to keep my hair out of my face and then just pull them down every step or so and check to make sure everything's going the way I want it to. I also use the mirror in my eye shadow palette for when I'm doing my eyes and brows; I have the Stila Window to the Soul palette, so the mirror is big enough to see everything I'm doing but also small enough that I can hold it close to my face and position it so it's not in the way of my brushes

I just don't worry about glasses lines because I never take my glasses off. I do however put almost no foundation where they sit.
KVD white concealer is good for brightening under eyes, I use the L1 which is a shade lighter than my skin. I have heavy black glasses frames.

Travel sized mirror oh my god that's genius. I always bring my mirror right up to my face and my brushes always hit my mirror or the eyeshadows in the pallet. This is a game changer thanks Taylor! This whole video is awesome as always.
Baking your face with powder where your nose pads touch your face is a great way to prevent foundation from transferring to the nose pads!

As someone who wears glasses, I buy all my glasses from eyebuydirect (actually found the website through Mallory 😂). I have bought about 9 pairs (literally a frame that goes with anything). you can find anything from super cheap to high end!
Katy Elliott how do you switch between them, it takes my eyes a day or two to adjust to another pair with the same prescription, just because of differneces in distance from the eye, angle, lens size, etc.
RosieWeasley My very first pair took a long while before I adjusted, but after that it was easy. I switch from pair to pair everyday (sometimes more than once a day) that I think I had just gotten used to it. I also have a pair of sunglasses, and those are the only pair that take my eyes awhile to adjust to (and from)

RosieWeasley this is first time in 25 years of wear glasses I have 2 pairs. It was weird to switch from between pairs first, they are totally different shapes so they wear differently. But with a little of time I can switch back forth no problem.

Ashley ikr? Taylor puts a genuine and daily glasses wearer to shame with AL the different looks she comes up with. For cassie it's always that one look, warm coppery/orange/brown eyeshadow and that's it.

Taylor off topic question here is the lightest shade of the L'Oréal pro matte to dark for you? The second lightest shade is to dark for me and I'm usually about a shade darker than you

Lindsay Drake if youre yellow check out maybe the 2nd shade and lighten it with a foundation mixer or light concealer. im lighter that taylor but i bought the 2nd shade in the pro glow and mix in a bit of the hard candy glamaflauge (spelling?) in the lightest shade and it lights pretty much to the perfect shade. go for undertone then lighten to your shade if its too dark
Idk about her but I think I'm pretty much the same shade as her and I find that in some lighting it looks a tad to dark!

This is how you do a sponsored a video! By the time you got to the nitty gritty of the tutorial, I had completely forgotten that it was sponsored because you came across so genuinely. I definitely got the vibe that you made this video because you genuinely care about sharing solutions, rather than you made it because you needed to figure out a way to satisfy a sponsor. As the rest of the comments are saying, that really sets you apart from most youtubers and warrants mad respect!! genuity (TM UrbanDictionary lol) is hard to come by these days, and I'm so glad this was the first video of yours I found. I have terrible vision without my glasses so what I usually do is put my glasses on top of my head instead of a hairband to keep my hair out of my face and then just pull them down every step or so and check to make sure everything's going the way I want it to. I also use the mirror in my eye shadow palette for when I'm doing my eyes and brows; I have the Stila Window to the Soul palette, so the mirror is big enough to see everything I'm doing but also small enough that I can hold it close to my face and position it so it's not in the way of my brushes
