@@boatman9564 fyi I had mine remapped by Martin Rossiter of West Wales Tuning. Very happy with the results. In fact JB Mechanical regularly gets these to 80hp on regular unleaded but they are in Aus, not UK.
Good to know. I think this 3cyl engine is used up to 70hp by Suzuki. If there’s no variation in mechanical parts up to that HP level then then that definitely sounds like it’s worth investigating.

Can you give us a rough idea of how many hours and how much $ for the rebuild?
where did you find intructions for that? I have same process going on right now with suzuki df50.
Great video been waiting for this one to come out ….. is there much difference between the 50 and 60 hp outboards ? I have a 50 now and been thinking of going to the 60 ?
It’s definitely quicker. Top speed I had from the 50 was 25knts. 60 has given we 30knts however I think I’ll get more out of it once re-propped. 60 is definitely a better match for my 4.8m than the 50.
When u film from travelling this boat ?
Where did you get the new shims from:)? For the valve clearance

Did you reused the old bolts?
Most of them, yes. There are a few you have to replace as they’re single use.
@@boatman9564 okay i made the hole progress on my df50a but changed all the bolt to new ones. But im going to rebuild my df60a which ones did you replaced?
