I have a question. I’m attempting to purchase the 2002 outboard Suzuki motor 115 HP outboard. It has been sitting for six months since then torn apart rebuilt by a professional looks and sounds perfect but what is the possible longevity of this motor.??? Is it just a crapshoot at this point stroke of luck whether it lasts or not.? Any input you may have would be a great help please and 🙏 ty
Trying to use SDS software on a 2015 DF20 outboard. DF20 has an ECM, but it looks like you have to actually power the ECM separately (since there's no "on" switch for the motor and it doesn't have to be connected to a battery to run). Can you tell me anything about this ECM power cable and how to connect it?

Drain that VST OFTEN...contamination destroyed my Yamaha pump...not external like the suzuki
I have 2010 175 Suzuki. When I remove the anodes, and flush from the front, do I leave the anode holes open or closed up with the anodes replaced?

I have the same engine, Suzuki 2014. It doesn’t pickup speed. I change the filter, but still not picking up speed. What could be the problem ? Help!

What about freash water do you still need to clean the anode every month
You can follow the service manual . that's enough for engine life.but chainge oil engine and transmission oil don't be delay.

replace plug, make sure you have fresh gas , make sure no leak on primer bulb and bulb is hard .
Sounds like every problem can be traced back to inadequate maintenance,,,,good for zuckie,not so good for owner…..
