    You are so right!!!! My elders use to say, "Saw wood and say nothing." In other words, work hard, save, live below your means, be consistent and shut the hell up!!! Others become jealous and it really pisses them off when you make less or appear to have less than they do and seem to do well anyway. They fail to understand that while they are living large and spending; you are living small and saving!!! I really enjoy your content and I am glad I subscribed to your channel!!!

    It’s a problem when you win and the people close to you are not winning. They will get envious and jealous and will turn on you. This is what humans do they can’t help themselves we are hardwired to be this way. You have to be strong willed to counteract these negative human emotions. Success breeds haters no escaping this fact. It’s lonely at the top most people are not willing to go through the struggle to climb to the top.

    This brings back some memories. I started doing very well around 31 years old - i suddenly started noticing hostility and almost threats, just out and about, in bars etc. Reminded me of clashes from my teenage years - then i had a flash of an idea:- hired a personal boxing instructor, the difference in people's behaviour was extraordinary - changed to respect..

    I saw this first hand when I told a few close acquaintances about my once meager net worth approaching the first 1M. While I naively expected cheers, what I saw instead was a trace of disappointment and veiled displeasure. I kept quiet since then. When I did hit the mark, I could only celebrate in silence.

    I have friends. Having said that, I'm a loner for the most part. I really feel that I would be unbothered if I had haters. I generally don't care. I usually have an "oh well" attitude. At the end of the day, I know that I got me. That in itself, gives me so much freedom.

    This video is so on point. It amazing how you can support your family and friends with their success, then they get an attitude about success. I don't discuss my finances with my family. My oldest sister is envious of me, and it has strained our relationship. I made better decisions in my life.

    I laugh because if you tell people you paid off your car or student loans they congratulate you because they relate to the struggle. If you pay off your mortgage and tell people, most people don't know how to handle it.

      @@xoxo-vp7wwso true. I’ve been sharing financial knowledge, your health, investing, frugality, couponing, gardening, canning my own foods, prepping/ food pantry with coworkers for years. I retire in 2& 1/2 years. My coworkers know I’m retiring too. Finally, with much prayer, they have been listening for the past 3 years. I think 2020 and 2021 was a big part of their start. They started to see what I was talking about. No job is promised. I work in healthcare as a therapist. It’s nice to see when at the end of the day or even on lunch break when we close the door and have discussions about our gardens or deals/savings at the grocery store. It’s about 7of us in that therapy gym. No hate in the gym but it changes once we get out of that office. I realize I can’t help everyone so now I just encourage those 7 and move in silence. I’m currently 51. Be blessed

    I never was jealous of other people I always want to see people succeed in life God told me do not covet thy neighbor so I won't be jealous of no one but I ask God for my blessings 🙏 and I remind myself to stay humble and put God first before all things. This is the person I am I don't want to get to comfortable because I know when I die I can't take this wealth with me so those material things you give it to the people you love when you die.

    I recently visited with some friends & realized they were still in the same boat they were 15 & 20 yrs ago. I wanted to give someone something for doing something for me. One of them protested that I didn't need to tip that person. I see they don't believe in giving as I do. Whether I believe the person needs it or not.     I fell while on vacation 2 years ago, and i was out of work for 6 months. I had to change my career. God has blessed me tremendously. I work 84 hours to get finances in order and better. Im setting up sinking funds . Great message!! I needed to hear this! I'm so thankful 🙏

    Thanks man, I found your channel the other day, It just happened to pop up on my feed and I feel like it wasn't by accident. Everything you were talking about was pertaining to everything I'm going through right now and then listening to this video, I just told my wife I don't think it was an accident stumbling on this. I own a roofing company in Texas and have been struggling to do it by myself for 4 years and then I finally found an awesome sales guy to start helping me out and everything was great until I started noticing these little comments he was making. This dude was really watching my money, talking about my vacations etc. I just had to let him go because his attitude was extremely poor even though he was the perfect person I was looking for. I 100% now feel like I made the right decision. Thank you for this video and all the videos that you do!

I used to move all my luggage to a hotel a day before travelling back to the foreign country and inspect everything before travelling ... people can put cocaine or drugs in your luggage as you travel and you spend the rest of your life in prison as a drug smuggler
