Did you fully complete the setup of your PayPal account? When you connect your bank account to PayPal, it may send two small deposits to your account (for account verification). You have to enter those amount values (from the bank deposit) into your PayPal account to complete the bank account verification. Then your PayPal account should be ready.

Business account is better for accepting payment online. However, you can still receive payments with personal account.

Business paypal is only for receiving transaction above 500 US$ per month.
You can have 2 pay pal account. 1 for personal and 1 for business.
But the email id should be different.
If you want to use only 1 email id, upgrade your paypal from personal to business for accepting transaction above 500 USD per month.
YOUR EMAIL ID IS REQUIRED FOR ANY PAYPAL TRANSACTIONS.

Yes, you can get/receive money to your Personal PayPal account. But the maximum limit you can receive is 500 USD per month ( whether it is in 1 transaction or multiple transaction, it doesn't matter ).
Maximum amount you can receive in your Personal paypal account is 500 USD.
BUT IN BUSINESS PAYPAL ACCOUNT, YOU CAN RECEIVE/GET UNLIMITED AMOUNT, BUT TAX WILL BE DEDUCTED.
I am not sure how much is the tax percentage, you can check out in the PayPal Website or Google or TH-cam videos.

Yes. If you view that transaction in your PayPal account, there should be a message that explains when you can expect that money to clear and be available in your account.

This didn't help me out much..... now I see why people rather use venmo instead of PayPal because they probably got to do extra steps just to receive money.....

make it step-by-step. assuming the viewer knows how to operate a computer and also knows Paypal, but has NEVER used PAYPAL before! OK.
What is a PayPal ID
Your PayPal email address is your ID. Also, you get a secure merchant ID that you can find in your account profile (if you need).

@@KorinIverson You should also have mentioned this in your video that your email address is your ID for sending money because it is confusing for new comer to PayPal. I read all the comments above & below. Make a video on how to receive international payments through other methods other than paypal. But us thanks a lot for the efforts you put in it for making this video. :)
