- After turbulence between Jakks Pacific and WWE, the two brands would turn on each other in 2008, with WWE joining Mattel's stable and Jakks Tag-Teaming with TNA Wrestling! With TNA's partnership with Jakks Pacific set to begin in 2010, they would create figures in the Deluxe, Ruthless, and Genesis (Havoc Unleashed) styles, but one style would win out: Which one? And who would get made in figure form with the likes of Hulk Hogan, AJ Styles, and Sting on the TNA Impact roster? Watch Part 2 and find out!

IMPACT needs more figure lines.
The havoc unleashed really threw me back. I remember being a kid and my mom took me to big lots and I got Batista who came with the world title and John cena who came with the wwe belt. I was so excited but ended up losing the belts after a few weeks. Still have the figures though.
Their Knockouts figures did & still does have more articulation than any of wwe’s women figures I wish they made the male figure like that their close to wwe’s elites

I have quite a few of these in my tna collection, I really like the figures! I've always personally preferred Jakks to Mattel. And great to see guys like Raven and Abyss get released
I hope Impact Wrestling starts making action figures again

Hell yeah! I haven't collected wrestling figures since WCW GALOOB's and WWF HASBRO's....outside of a Jakks Flash Funk, my final personal toys r us purchase (and really random) outside of presents for the nephs and loads of Monster High dolls for the kiddo...er excuse me TEENAGER, buying LJN's and Hasbro's and Goloob's and AWA REMCO's and random Jakks for the purpose of reselling. But I've very recently begun collecting again and while I'm not collecting any specific line or company Impact is my favorite product and I'd argue with anyone that they've consistently produced the best televised wrestling product for the last 5 years. I'm stoked for Wrestling's TRUE God MOOSE, The Callihan Death Machine The DRAW "Cannonball Sami" Sami Callihan, The Walking Weapon Josh Alexander and the Virtuosa and possibly husband too in a 2-pack maybe?!?!? People still love to dog on Impact Wrestling but considering what they accomplish with a parent company who's revenue is estimated to roughly only be $20million is nothing short of amazing....Sadly it's why they get a talent like MR GMSI, THE SWOLVERINE Brian Cage over and he dips, W. Morrissey and he dips, Jonah and dunzo and sadly why they can't lock down someone like a Juice Robinson, who just debuted in AEW but is sure to get lost like recently departed Impact World Tag Team Champions Bennett and Taven, The Kingdom. Take the former L.A.X. for example....one need look no further than Santana and Ortiz to see that while the Financials truly are next level the creative/booking doesn't even come close to beginning to compare. In other words I'll say, as it's been said before, people stay in Impact Wrestling because they want to stay in Impact Wrestling and selfishly I hope this deal with Chella is a success I also hope it's a successful new revenue stream for the company and for the talent. Impact Wrestling truly is HARD 2 KILL!

however, jakks DID venture back into wrestling figures. jakks made some strange looking international wwe figures that included roman reigns, dean ambrose, john cena and kalisto.
Losing out that Jim Cornette was huge… but having 72 Jeff Hardy’s is the real reason why people gave up.
I think I was always more of a fan of the toy biz TNA figures. I actually do like ruthless aggression figures too but I personally haven’t had a chance to collect the ones from TNA ones yet though.

Do a video on the Lucha Libre USA figures. Those were great quality figures in my opinion. Shame it ended so quick.
I'm sorry I forgot to update my initial comment, but I'm back, watching this again while I clean the house. Your videos are top notch, my dude. This actually taught me a ton, as I dropped out of collecting right around the time the TNA ToyBiz line hit, like, series 3. So most of these were brand new to me. The only Jakks TNA figure I own is the exclusive Joker Sting, I bought it at a live TNA show in 2013. I still have it MOC! Once again, you killed it. If you ever want to have me do a little something for the channel, just say the word. I love your stuff!
Anything you want to do I would embrace with open arms! It sounds again like we have a similar figure path, I largely got out of collecting (again) around the middle of the TNA Toy Biz figures. I still haven't parted with the joker Sting from this video, the thought is giving me anxiety haha. Thanks again for lending your credibility, it means a ton!

I actually had the Hulkamania ring as a kid, but I got mine from Boscov’s and mine came with Genesis style Hogan and Sting, kind’ve a bummer

I had Beer Money and the AJ Styles and Jeff Jarrett and was always looking for new ones when I would be buying figures, great figures!
thought they where ok but not as good as the marvel ones, the fact they where way too oversized to put with other figures kind of killed it for me, certainly great detail on them, also Jakks got lazy with these too bringing out previous WWE figures with little too no changes just in TNA boxes
I really hope impact gets a toy deal with their current roster there is plenty of side deals being done by the wrestlers themselves but... Its not enough

I honestly liked the marvel tna figures more. They looked unique and was a nice difference from the wwe figure look.

Why is jakks Mario and sonic figures so great while these TNA figure are subpar besides a few figures by a few i mean a lot
I suppose unlike TNA, Sonic and Mario are much more sustainable licenses in their eyes.

Aside from a few good figs I hated Jakks scaling especially their ginormous heads lol and deluxe were the worst with their massive pythons! Lmao

In terms of Jakks licensed wrestling figures, wasn’t there a deluxe style lucha line for a little bit or was that another companies attempt
I *think* Jakks planned a generic style Lucha line but got scrapped. I can look into that if you want me to! But I think what you're thinking of was a Lucha Libre 6" figure style that looked very similar to Jakks figures, but done by Playmates Toys! These are in our database if you'd like more info!
@@FigureCollections That's the line I was thinking of. I didn't know they were playmates. I think I heard about or saw them once and never got them and never saw them again.

The Jakks Pacific scales were bad, but to this day I still prefer these figures much compared to the Mattel ones and especially the TNA line
I still got the TNA Impact Series 3 Sharkboy Figure
Lucky 🍀 he’s rare & everytime I think to look on e-bay he’s never there except sometimes when I check in he could be there for at least a week before someone buys his figure & then his figure doesn’t show up for months
It’s the same thing with Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels figure I was waiting years till I finally saw him Daniels on EBay for 55$ & I got him & then a year later I got Kazarian for like 25$ which is crazy because at this moment he’s on eBay for like 57$ but anyway point is your lucky because they are rare & incredibly hard to find
And I got my Sharkboy Figure from a Disc Replay about 2 years ago

Interestingly, in 1999 Jakks released BCA Superstars Series 8 Kane, which was labeled the corporate series...So (kind of) the first corporate Kane!
