    I absolutely loved this game as a kid, before you were old enough to look up reviews online you just got better at the shit controls and didn't think about it too much

    • @TXFDA
      @TXFDA ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I mean, that's being a kid for ya. Especially back in the day when you had to rely on magazines to give you some idea about games. Or just relying entirely on if the box looked cool. You'd get a game, and you'd deal with it, whether it was bad or not, because that's the game you got.
      I mean, one of my favorite games growing up, was Enter the Matrix on PS2. And by all accounts, that game is considered a pile of hot garbage. The graphics weren't great, the animations were pretty bad, the controls kinda sucked, the story was nonsense. But I liked Matrix, saw the game in the store, and begged my parents to get it for me. I got it, played it, and ended up really enjoying it, despite all the jank.
      I rented countless games from Blockbuster that were horrible, but I put up with it, because what else was I gonna do? Make my parents drive back to Blockbuster to rent me another game? No, I was gonna play the hell out of the game I got, and I was gonna force myself to like it. And most of the time, I figured out how to work around the bad parts and did actually enjoy it.

      - no female wrestlers

      - the lack of game modes
      - the entrances are too short

      I would not really complain that much if it would be a 100% female TNA Impact! game with 25 Knockouts .

    I did ask my mom to buy me this game for Christmas. And she bought me it. It was a good game. But could've put more weapons in the game. And more special matches. And other moves.

      It might not have had all the features, but for a first time TNA game I thought it was pretty good. It couldn't stand any of the SVR games and never bothered with the 2k ones. My preference is the more arcade-y type wrestling games as opposed to a more simulator type.

    The game gave some hope at the time, i remember waiting for it to release. We had stopped getting new games other than 1 wwe game a year at that point so this releasing was great. Good fighting style, just needed expanding on. Haven't even watched the video, don't need some dude telling me about a game i've used up multiple times
