I went into this as a solo female with no experience and it took me a long time to finish but I am so proud and happy with the end result.

This....this is the ultimate goal when I think about life on the road. Building a space of calm tranquility to heal, rest as well as explore and grow all in the same place. Eva is my absolute favorite build I have come across, and I have seen many over the last few years of researching, wishing and dreaming, for when I am finally able to have my own. You and your story are inspirational and a flicker of hope in a time when the fire seems to have burned out. So thank you, and I'm sending you all the good energy and luck for your travels ahead, wherever they take you.

I’m realizing we can also find these moments of beauty even in the small daily activities. I think having lived life on the road makes me truly appreciate the simplicity of just a little home somewhere close to nature!
I loved seeing the whole process of you building up Eva to your liking and needs, even the parts where you had to stop and prioritize your physical and mental health, you reminded me of how important that is when taking on a long term project, thank you!

New sub here... what a great build. Kept simple and very beautiful.... it can be very overwelming with all the electrical and plumbing yet this way its more than functional and a lot easier.
Thanks for the sub! my goal was to keep it as open and airy as possible :) had to be a minimalist in the design approach. but it has worked well thus far!

(I have a similar van 🚐. Build in progress! How did you tell where the metal roof ribs were? I’m gonna try a stud finder with a metal option and rig that works. Just curious what you did to figure that out!) -Teresa

I’ve always wanted to do van life but I have no skills in buildings or tools so I think my best bet is to buy a van prebuilt lol
I will never understand how google algorithms can be so bad sometimes. I have been watching solo van conversion channels for years and somehow this is the first Ive seen your vids. subscribed immediately of course. Anyway, not to be a creep but I have to admit I was checking out your equipment. haha. Where did you get that straight edge/level!? What a handy idea! Can you provide the link to your Keep Cool insulated bag.
Have you had any issues with the vinyl floor after installation due to the temperature changes of the environment? I've heard that it gets deformed after a while.
I have certain areas where the floor has shifted yes but I’m thinking that it’s mainly due to the constant pressure of stepping mainly in my hallway. It’s never shifted underneath the bed where it’s just storage. It also could be due to the vehicle constantly jumping around and moving while driving down the road, I recommend adding the flooring in after the cabinets so in case you need to adjust anything or if you decide to change the style then it’s easier to

Just FYI never eat the ends of bananas my great grandma died by eating ends of bananas because a spider burled into the end of the banana and laid it's eggs and you could eat it and not even know it

I’m sorry that you lost your grandma, but it is not by the reason you stated. Spiders laying eggs in the ends of bananas is a long debunked urban myth. Spiders do not lay eggs there, nor would harm come to a person if they were to eat these eggs if they did. Truth is, you probably unknowingly eat spider/insect eggs, nothing dangerous about it.
