omg i love the black cat. my gf and i are friends with an indoor outdoor cat that lives at a vet which is located next to the Thai Buddhism HQ for North America. They said he just wandered from the temple as a kitten. All the black cats i ever see seem to have such interesting little quirks. Anyways, cat rant over. what an awesome interior for this van, its very calming to look at

Your diesel heater was designed for big truck sleeper compartments. These compartments are usually poorly insulated. So they were made to be aggressive (hot). You never know if a trucker is going to be in Alaska or North Dakota (very cold). Love that it works so well in your camper.
Great point! it sure is powerful! i'm glad it provides the truckers some comfort as well. the only thing is it is a dry heat so good to have a humidifier!

Surprised you don't have him on a leash so he doesn't wander off but looks like he stays pretty close to you. Please be careful of hawks who like to scoop down and take small critters.

now a days there are many ways to work from home, just have to find out what suits you best! i think it's hard getting started to be more off grid but once you have your systems in place, theoretically things get smoother. i am not 100% off grid. i still use public restrooms and my diesel fuel naturally attaches me to this energy source. if all of my energy was derived from solar, wind and water wheels that would make me off grid

I want to live like this so bad. It’s my biggest dreams and I’m currently saving for a van. If I can ask, what do you do for work/money? That’s been the biggest hurdle for me is trying to figure out what to do for income while on the road/living vanlife.
personally, i saved money by doing odd jobs to get to a point where my overhead is very low. i am still working on developing abundance in my own life currently. i suggest look into stocks, investing, crypto etc. and also having multiple streams of revenue. i also suggest looking into your personal life, whether that be astrology or just meditating on what you can best offer this world. when you follow what your purpose is, more often than not there will be more opportunities than obstacles.

One thing that helps male cats not run away is that they have to be neutered but besides that we’ve been working with him since he was a kitten on hiking and exploring and to know that we are his friends and food providers lol. they may wander some but they do stick close especially if you have treats Our female cat is really good at sticking close
