My dads 07 odyssey touring is at 255k miles now. Some problems to list are leaking water in trunk andr down passenger a pillar, airbags don't work, parking sensors don't work, auto headlights don't work, engine leaks oil from vtec and oil pan, trans is showing its age when downshifting, electric doors jam, but it still drives
2007 with 290,000 miles. Changed the alternator, starter and recently the compressor. They were all original. Also have done the timing belt & water pump (Austin or Gates brand preferred)
Awwww that's my baby! Isn't she beautiful! That's what I have.. it's an 08 touring model:) my kids love her.. smooth ride.. no issues.. but that one has tons of miles! Mine is now 6 yrs old but only has about 70k miles on it:) n I take very very well care of my baby cuz she takes care of me n keeps my whole family safe... now let me watch ur video lol :)
Tracey Smith I'm 11 so In 2021 I'll be happy to take it off your hands Ps the 08 Honda Odyssey is my dream car my mom has a 17 Land Rover lr4 but I want a Honda Odyssey like this sooooooo bad😭
Tracey Smith hey make sure you go to the Honda Dealer and get your timing chain changed. every 80,000 it need to be changed on the Honda or else if you don't change it you'll wreck the engine
It's not weird. They're good vans. About the time you were born was my first ever time in a Honda. November 21, 2005, the Monday before Thanksgiving. I was at a Beta Club convention and some of the parents drove their vans and SUVs to drive the students there. On my way back to the school on the first day I ended up in a '05 or '06 Honda Odyssey. I was a month shy of 13 and I thought it was a very nice vehicle, I was a bit jealous (our family car was a '01 Toyota Highlander at the time). Today I love Honda, I've been in more than my fair share, I've test driven top of the line Acuras, and I have a 2011 Accord EX-L V6 w/Nav sedan. It all started with this generation Odyssey. August 14, 2018 2:46 am
Great video! I just had to replace my 2003 white Ody EX-L RES with 421,300 miles. I am the original owner and replaced it with a 2006 Ody EX-L with 189,200. This is an interim vehicle until I purchase a 2018 or 2019 Ody Elite. If you take good care of the Ody it can last a long time.
I had a 2017 Honda Odyssey Touring(NEW) and it was great until we had some suspension problems, ignition coil problem that we had to replace 3 times in this year actually and had to turn it in for a 2023 Honda Pilot (EX-L)(NEW) i miss my 2017 Honda Odyssey Touring
Great test drive! I didn't know it was a violation of TH-cam copyrights to have radio demos; I made a video of a radio demo on the Rogue, and I've gotten no warnings.
Besides obviously the room. I'm debating on the 07-odyssey and crv what to get lol I know they can both be used as a mini camper so not sure what to do lol
your lucky we had to trade in our 2017 Honda Odyssey Touring because the Ignition Coils went out 3 times, Transmission, Alternator, Parking Sensor Bulb burnt out, Turn Signal Bulb replacement and the cost of having to fix the ignition coils and the transmission and the alternator it was too much. So we got a 2023 Honda Pilot EX-L I wish we could have kept the odyssey though it had 107,240 Miles.
These are great but you have to consider the 2nd generation Nissan Quest too. The fully loaded models have sky view windows in the rear and the same sporty vq engine from the Nissan 350z and the maxima.
We've never let the oil life in any of our Honda's get beyond 15%, which is what Honda recommends. That's unacceptable, I hope it was just never reset. Is the minivan segment really dying? Honda sold 14,000 of these last month lol.
I have the laminated paper from la vergne tn with the picture of the same thing but is is without the Navi and it is just a plain radio and it is blue so if you see there is no no navigation
Hey Brorowcarwiz This Is Teresa I Have A Requested Video For You To Do I Know This Coronavirus Has Been A Huge Struggle For Everybody So Can You Entertain Us By Doing A Test Drive Of The 1992 Toyota Sienna Xle Please I Would Be Really Happy If You Do It For Us.
This was filmed in summer 2013. I'd say this young man was born around 1995, probably in the 1993-1996 range. So probably 17-19 somewhere. January 7, 2015 10:45 pm
+Kingzy I stand corrected on my January 2015 comment. I've watched a little more BRCW now. Typically you have to be 18 or older to test drive a car and he was doing that in 2012. So at the time of this video (filmed summer 2013) he would have had to have been at least 19. He was born in 1994 at the latest. I'd say this young man was probably born around 1993, probably in the 1991-1994 range. So he was probably about 19-22 when this was filmed. 21-24 now. He inspires me to start my own car review channel. I have a good relationship with a local Honda dealer and already test drive the new Hondas when they come out. All I need is to film it and the ball is rolling. Of course being a legit car reviewer like BRCW takes a lot more work but filming my test drives is the first step. I was born December 25, 1992 so I'm probably pretty close to BRCW's age. March 31, 2016 2:17 am
+Samuel Matthews we put about 100k miles on our old odyssey, sold it to my uncle, and since then it's had it's mirror stolen and hit by a garbage truck and it's still running good lol
I have a 2007 Honda Odyssey with 105000 miles on it! Just changed the timing belt and water pump, and spark plugs ! So far so good !
any transmission problems? i want to get one but scared of those trans problems
@@mikelarry5230 , Honda transmission mostly are good as long as you changing the transmission fluid every 30000-60000 miles !

dude love your commentary. you're funny (non-intentionally) yet so on point. great job!
I love the gauges, navi screen and climate controls in this gen. Overall its just such a nice van!
I know someone who has a 2007 Odyssey EX and I appreciated its driving dynamics and comfort!
Got 190,000 miles on my 2002 Odyssey and about to embark on a big road trip without any hesitation
Tu Nguyen 2002
I dunno wether I want a Van or crv ugh! It's just me tho lol! But I want to travel
I've read there were many problems with the VCM system causing excessive engine oil consumption. Some owners have deactivated their VCM (see forums)
2007 with 290,000 miles. Changed the alternator, starter and recently the compressor. They were all original. Also have done the timing belt & water pump (Austin or Gates brand preferred)
Did you ever have the valve lash adjustment performed?
Thank you! I appreciate you for watching! :)

Madiemic0506 this is going to sound weird but my dream car is an 08 Honda Odyssey ex-l
I'm 11 and I want one for my first car
Hey buddy. I'm 14 and my parents have two Honda Odysseys. 2008-2010. The Odyssey is a very good car.

It is! It drives well too
I'd look at the Sienna due to the fact that it uses the silky smooth powertrain from the Lexus RX. But I'd have to test drive both
Sienna is very reliable .
However its handling can not compare to the Odyssey.
Not fun at all.

My aunt has an 09 with like 110k. It's beat to shit but with oil changes done at the right time it's had zero problems

Definitely I will buy that mini van
Good to know!
Odyssey's are the shit. They are THE minivan to get!
These are great but you have to consider the 2nd generation Nissan Quest too. The fully loaded models have sky view windows in the rear and the same sporty vq engine from the Nissan 350z and the maxima.
It is the only van with 4 wheel independent suspension besides the Hyundai van.
They're fickle about it. I've never been flagged for radio music, but I have been for intro music
They should make manual trans for these vans too.
#minivanswag all day errday.
No sir. Its an EX-L with Nav and DVD
Overall, it's a great minivan!
I love Honda Odyssey
if the tire light is on, you should have the tire pressures checked could have a leaking tire.
this is a good video and I like Honda cars
Never driven one of those.
