I feel you should start the ones you have kitted up for. Just start whatever you have. You are excited for them all. The 24 for 24 can be a mixture of new starts and WIPs. That is what I will be doing. So if you start a few now, count them in the 24 for 24, more manageable 😊
I struggle with some parts of the nineties aesthetic, especially the color palettes, but they are growing on me! I actually like way more of the 90's era Mirabilias than the modern ones.
I absolutely love moon glow - we should SAL it! I think I’m waiting to start her bc I love her so much haha. I absolutely agree with what you said about body size in fancy lady designs. It’s funny - I met Nora at the retreat and she is very thin and lithe, so I think she designs ladies that look like her.
I started it last night so we should SAL it because I know you have it kitted and ready to go! I did the moon and OMG so fabulous and rewarding. Obviously skipped the beads but it's still so nice to have the moon in moon glow staring back from the fabric. We just need a good hashtag.
I love the Moon Glow mainly because I also see myself in that design, but mostly because it is a departure from every other chart featuring people in my stash. And I love your fabric choice! I found you via @lickingfloss
Just a comment from someone who has used both Kreinik and DMC metallic. I despise DMC metallic but I love Kreinik. I use thread heaven when I work with metallic. But since that is no longer available any thread conditioner should work.
The other thing that helped me was using shorter lengths with metallics. I will also sometimes tie the end to the needle bc rethreading metallics is not fun.
what big plans you have! I was also someone who wasn't super into mira and nora patterns but I think it was because all I saw were mermaids. and then I just kept seeing more and more that I enjoyed. I also got the fairy flora (I think we saw the same post about it retiring) and now I have so many charts I don't know when I'm going to start lol great video 👌
I think I saw the same chart, it was @atomheartcrossstitch who I saw doing Moon Glow that got my interest peaked with Nora Corbett. She has some amazing floss drops
I think you should try and start one every week. Make the most of Nora November x

That's a great idea. A new start in November is barely a WIP by January anyways lol
I’m a huge fan of the 90s patterns (not all of them, there’s a lot of angels…) but they are so intricate and detailed that isn’t as common these days
