Put some silicone caulk around the motor bolts and bolt holes. Water gets in there and drains down into the motor casing rusting out stuff and getting into the bearings. It's also a good idea to replace the fan capacitor at the same time.
Had one of those go out $80 for a new one local supplier I used retired rest of the places won't sell to me not a contractor. I now buy online stock extra parts at home like a cap, condenser fan, and contactor. My unit still under 10 year warrant, but cost more to pay someone to install the parts then for myself to just do it and buy the parts.

Yes, I replaced one 7 years ago on a different unit and it cost $50 for the part. This one cost $220 on-line. Inflation is a but kicker.
