    Great review, thanks. I have the upgraded HBX 1:12 Vanguard 903 brushed RC truck as well as the 1:16 HBX 16689 brushed version and they’re both good rigs. How would you compare the 903 to the current 2995 brushed version. Wondering if there’s enough difference to justify another 1:12 RC? You know them both,what do you think? Thanks.

      Glad you are enjoying them!
      The two 1:12 vehicles I had were VERY different in design.

    • @RoadsideRC

      Yes and yes.
      The ESC and motor do get hotter running 3S. And yes, the brushed system will not last long in a basher. Keep your eye out - there are some brushless versions of this truck out there.

    • @RoadsideRC
      @RoadsideRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is a really tough question!
      This being 4WD helps in many driving scenarios. If you are planning on doing mostly off-road stuff, this might be a better option.
      If you are looking for something to upgrade over time, the Voltage might be a better option. It is much easier to upgrade the electronics on the Voltage. The HBX here is mostly just something you drive as it comes.
      Honestly - I don't see either as long-term bashers for a person. You will drive them, enjoy them, and eventually want to "step-up" in vehicle.

    • @RoadsideRC

      2s = 2 cell lipo battery
      3s = 3 cell lipo battery. Higher voltage for more speed and power.
      I believe this truck is basically the exact same as the 12815 with a different body.
