This was a joy to watch. The scenery was breathtaking, like a fairy snow land from an ancient Nordic saga. I got quite carried away. I was carried along with romantic dreams of ice and snow and glaciers and the sound of arctic winds and the warmth of a cozy, isolated cabin with my trusty mutt by my side and copious amounts of delicious coffee and a log burning stove to keep me warm and content ...... until you lost me with pooping outside with someone as polar guard. Yeah I woke up pretty sharpish then lol. Your vlogs are wonderful, beautifully shot and such a 'pick-me-up'.
The Northern Lights, a great book, a great series of books. Have you seen any armoured bears? The BBC have recently made a great adaptation of the trilogy.

I read on the news that there were 2 people who were attacked by a polar bear outside of Longyearbyen and immediately got worried that it was you guys, because I saw part one of the failed trip and knew that you were going out the next day again. But then further down the article it stated that it was 2 guys, and I was really relieved cause it can't be you two. Don't get me wrong, a polar bear attack on anyone is really bad but still... I'm glad you made it out there safely.

Ah the fire is sooo nice! Um what were you eating? It looks so yummy It all seems so soothing. Agree, the daytime is so beautiful. The temperature is like spring skiing to me. Yes, bringing poo back with you reminds me of picking your dogs poo up back here in the states. It’s good they have a system for all that.

Quite an adventure! I love the drone shots ... amazing! As for the "toileting" at the cabin, I think I would rely on the old Glamper trick, the Luggable Loo, instead of going out of the cabin to pee ---- all of us "Girl Campers" have a container with a wide mouth & a lid for pee (mine is a large Nalgene-type water bottle with a handle - black for discretion) and then we dispose of it all at once (or, at least, in the morning) instead of making trips out every time you have to go.
Now that is one heck of a cabin adventure! Soooo beautiful. You've an amazing security detail too, I don't think anything would get past Christopher and Grim. My 8 year old son is planning his next holiday to Disney Land and in my head I'm like, get that son but have you seen this video of Svalbard 😄 I think he might win on first holiday pick but it's not a race ... I will def get there. It's just do magical ❄☀️❄
