I also have just as much respect if not more for the cabin crew and everyone else working on these ships. It’s a logistical marvel. It’s a literal small city floating on water and ice.

I love being in natural waters ... but when it comes to cold water I barely go up to my knees before I retreat. I CANNOT fathom the courage it took for Kara to backflip and Nate to belly flop into ICY COLD frigid waters - in a swimsuit - on a very cold, blustery day. I have profound respect and awe for these people!
Awesome episode! This is definitely on me and my husband’s bucket list! When Nate belly flopped into the Arctic Ocean, the view of the deep dark depths of the sea was surreal - definitely not for someone with thalassophobia! 🥶

I'd love to know why people think things like this are anywhere near on the scale of being the tiniest issue. The issue is our failure to invest way more in nuclear power, and in the development of fusion, which needed to have been up and running already. That failure is about to destroy either economies or the world. The best we can do is build nuclear stations now to the further massive detriment of our economies and live like peasants for the next few decades until AI becomes smart enough to fix everything for us
Amazing!! The clip @16.49 is so eerily humbling. Between the depth, how remote that area is and the color it makes you feel so so small ! And in awe of Gods creation.
I’ve been to the north pole before! I truly underestimated how cold it would be ahahaha. Knowing how cold it was, I could never imagine doing the plunge so kudos to you guys xx
Your excitement always makes me so happy! And I was so excited for you on the North Pole that it brought a couple tears. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

You are absolutely adorable together and I love that you began as "High School Loves". Keep having the time of your lives. Kara, how are you feeling? We love you!
Wow, that must have been an incredible trip. I would love to do a trip like this but when I was just researching I was shocked to see prices for that ship start at $37,000 per person. I knew it wouldn't be cheap but that puts it into territory very, very few people will ever be able to afford unfortunately. I guess I will have to settle for living vicariously through your videos.
I was shocked too. It's once in a lifetime but not everyone's lifetime. Considering what it takes to get up and back, it's 16 days, everything included - the cost is still high but justifiable in my opinion. I'm sure I'll never get to go unless I win a lottery but I appreciate them sharing the experience.
@@asmaaa7535 i don’t think they paid this trip themselves. they make 5 videos out of this trip which is very good marketing for the cruise because they have over 3 mio subs. so they are probably doing it for free or paying a part 🤷🏽♀️ idk tho. i also think they could afford it considering that they make a good amount of money with youtube and they don’t have to pay rent at home cuz they don’t have a flat or house. either way for them it’s not only vacation but also work.
What i wonder is can both of them will be able to live a normal and most of the times boring life as everybody else after living such adventures for so many years. 🤔
That is such an amazing experience and really cool to see your journeys at the North Pole Kara and Nate. Watching keeps me inspired to continue my own travel adventures in the world!!
I have had seasickness in the past but never on a big cruise ship because they are so big. I hope you find a way to enjoy the water. I also take anti-motion sickness medicine twice a day if it's acting up to make sure I stay hydrated and nausea free. I still love watching cruises through @KaraandNate lens though!
Dramamine is a heluva drug. There are shorter 1 and 3 day cruises, maybe try 1 out. Also, the bigger the ship the less you feel it. It also comes down to weather/wave conditions. Good luck.
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.

I feel nostalgic seeing the ice. It is so stunning. It is so big. Yet so fragile. Hope it will stay like this.
Awesome episode! This is definitely on me and my husband’s bucket list! When Nate belly flopped into the Arctic Ocean, the view of the deep dark depths of the sea was surreal - definitely not for someone with thalassophobia! 🥶
I found y'all were nominated for an AIAA award! I voted for you guys ♥️ wow that was an amazing video. My favorite part was when nate did the plunge and took us with him. That water looked incredible
Is there a link you can provide? Also is there a way for the rest of us to vote on this? I checked the webpage for AIAA and there are about fifty different awards and I can't find a list of current nominees, only a call for nominees. Thanks!
@@carolehirsch7315 first select vote now and then "lifestyle kategories" and then "travel influencer of the year"
13K feet deep below him... shudder..
@@carolehirsch7315 I came across it from another channels video that was promoting it. I can't believe kara nor nate even mentioning it. There are a ton of categories but you can skip any of them that you want. You can vote everyday
@@lvsluggo007 omg right? I don't think I've ever seen a video of water that color and clarity. It was beautiful
You both are the epitome of what it truly is to live your best life. Sending love and light from California

How’s the weather in Nigeria today?
@@suzend46 The weather condition in Nigeria 🇳🇬 is very cold 🥶 hot and cloudy ⛅️. You’re so foolish you didn’t get to ask where I’m from You lack manners.
There is no way I could not do the polar plunge in the North Pole, if given the once in a lifetime opportunity to do it! I love living vicariously through you two, though! I've been watching with my daughter since the beginning and you guys have come so far!
Aww! The captains face is cute while he’s working to get you all right at the North Pole!
The captain is just the best! 😂❤️ Loved the moments just before getting to the North Pole!
Isn’t he?!? I miss hearing his voice everyday 😂🇫🇷
@@KaraandNate He's like one of those funny characters in movies.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ❤️ I love, love, love watching ALL of your adventures around the world, but this North Pole one just may be my FAVORITE! Safe travels & keep taking us all along with you both, Kara & Nate ❤️
So excited to see the rest of your adventure! Also Kara, your backflips are insane, you can now say that you did that in both the artic ocean and antartiqua!
I'd love to know more about any potential environmental impacts of these ships, both in terms of cruise tourism and then generally icebreakers and how/if they contribute to any loss of sea ice! would love to hear you guys give some environmental info about this super cool journey you're sharing.
It's a new hybrid liquid natural gas powered ship, not clean but cleaner than most. Breaking the ice does nothing to cause ice loss.
Hello auntie
I'd love to know why people think things like this are anywhere near on the scale of being the tiniest issue. The issue is our failure to invest way more in nuclear power, and in the development of fusion, which needed to have been up and running already. That failure is about to destroy either economies or the world. The best we can do is build nuclear stations now to the further massive detriment of our economies and live like peasants for the next few decades until AI becomes smart enough to fix everything for us
I’ve also been so curious about this through the whole North Pole series
Their is no environmental impacts at all!
Kara’s back tuck is still on point 🔥👌
Your excitement always makes me so happy! And I was so excited for you on the North Pole that it brought a couple tears. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
My wife and I love watching you guys. Please don’t get upset. We took a vote as to if this was your best episode ever. Yep - this episode won!! 🏆
As a Canadian I love how you can understand only half of what everyone else is saying 😋🤤 I’ve loved watching your adventures 😊
Loving this series! You guys have come full circle from the Antarctic polar plunge! 😊
Great to see you guys retry things, its amazing to see how you guys have changed from the last time you did the polar plunge.
Still doing a backflip though! lol It certainly makes for good film.
At 15:28, I watched this three times to appreciate how enormous of a feat and a trip it is.
When you say two kids from tennesse line it was awesome Kara. You give us all hope that we can live all our dreams. Hugs to you and Nate x
I can feel the coldness in my heart while you guys jump into the arctic freezing water.
First time seeing your north pole Arctic experience videos from a hot weathered country, Srilanka. 👍🇱🇰
when I grow up , I wanna be just like y’all 🥹 ! I’m so glad y’all ate the snow because I definitely was thinking if I were there I would do it 😂 and the shot of Nate belly flopping was sooo satisfying! The water is so blue ! I felt like I was there with y’all lol thanks for sharing , can’t wait for Episode 4 🥰⛄️
I was thinking they need to eat snow.
I had a smile from ear to ear watching this. And then my jaw dropped at the polar plunge. Thank you for this ultimate entertainment guys! xx
Although the entire experience is beyond amazing, I especially loved during the polar plunge seeing the water underwater. What a gorgeous shade of deep torquise the colors were. Just wow!!
Hello Jenny
These two are an example of follow your dreams , and to dream big.
Oh My G'Ness.... this is absolutely the most awesome!!!! I have just stumbled across these videos! I am now disabled, and mostly homebound... here in Northern Minnesota, so watching videos like these.... lets me go on grand adventures around the world!! This is just the neatest ever!!!
Kara's personality reminds me exactly of my sister super high energy, funny, but crazy lol
I love your guys videos, you both are such a true inspiration and make my day. I started watching a few years ago and your channel has remained my favorite. Congratulations on launching your news letter too! It’s so fun watching your channel grow! Thank you for your entertaining content, much love! ❤️
I've LOVED this series so far!! I literally cried watching yall finally make it to the North Pole lol. I'm kinda surprised Kara didn't. It's just such an amazing experience for you guys and to know we went to the same high school together just makes me happy that yall are out there experiencing what you are! It shows that no matter where you come from..if you work hard for something..you can achieve it. So proud of you guys.
PS.. GO BEECH BUCS 💙🧡
THAT WAS GREAT! You are both just so amazing! Not only do you both rock at your adventures but you two are such the perfect and beautiful couple!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who said woah, that’s more than my first house cost. That’s the lowest cost, up to 125k a person for the best room.
But from where they have these money I mean what does they work
yea its just idiotic. but also remember they destroy wildlife, ice, habitat, undersea waves. one big pollution to ruin our earth a bit faster
I love these people they just wanted to honey moon there entire life and u know the saying u ask and u shall receive
This has been my favorite series of yours to watch so far! Excited for the next two parts :D
"Where will I eat caviar next?" YES!!!! I can't wait to find out. Cheers to you both and here's to the extraordinary experience!
The North Pole series has been my favorite by far! So wholesome, love it!
I’ve absolutely loved this series! At the end I find myself saying … “dang it’s already over” 😂😂
What an amazing trip this is, it's on the bucketlist for sure!!! Looking forward to the last two episodes!!!
Adore this series! ❤
Same here! 🥰
Absolutely love watching Kara and Nate.
As a ‘kid from Tennessee’, you both inspire me that none of my goals and travel ambitions are too far out of reach❤️
Hello Elizabeth
That was the most intense parallel parking I've ever seen!
I don’t think I could ever go on a cruise (sea sickness) so I love watching you guys to be able to experience it! Thank you guys!
This might be the cruise for you! Once you hit the ice you don’t feel the waves :)
You two are SO cute together, love the videos! Have watched for years and was cheering you both on!
ALSO, KARA, incredible backflip!!
The “im so proud of you” at the same time … my heart 🥺❤️
I just looked up the price for this cruise....over 32000€. That's crazy. I'm glad for you, that you are able to do this 💛
Yeah 😳 bucket list for sure
What an adventure! I love watching you do things that most wouldn’t even dream of. I love you guys!!!
This looks like so much fun! Thanks for sharing!❄️🥂🥶☃️
Hopefully they don’t kill the polar bears. That is their habitat we are invading. Beautiful scenery and an amazing place to see.
No even realizing I started clapping (while at work) when you officially made it to the North Pole! I was so excited for you guys!!!! Must be an amazing feeling!!!
Love you guys so much from traverse City Michigan you guys are the best I'm a new subscriber to your channel and I will watch you forever love you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Im happy to see you guys traveling again for cool stuff like this! It’s always fun to watch!
Congratulations on your second polar plunge! Seeing you jumping that water makes me cold just thinking about it 🥶🥶
THAT WATER LOOKS FREEZING
I honestly just felt the excitement in my veins. This one episode (I’ve recently discovered you guys) made me live vicariously through you, and I was so excited for you guys. I celebrated reaching 90 degrees North with you, and felt the nervousness and excitement of the plunge!
I have had Faredrop for a few months now and haven't taken a trip yet. I can't wait to utilize all of the features you have included. Thank you so much for the travel news letter. I just recently got back from a trip to Naples, Italy and our Air France flight from Paris to Detroit got delayed 24 hours. Without your newsletter I would have never tried to contact the airline to check for compensation. Free $200 in Ecredit has never felt sooo good! (plus we already got free hotel room, and a dinner/breakfast voucher and 15 Euros each to spend for lunch at the airport!)
my favorite series by far!! such a fun expierence. ty ypu guys for always bringing us along. :)
