This song "grows" on you. It has now become my favorite Rammstein song. Their costumes are based on the colors of the German flag - black, red and gold.
Yes this the first track from the new stadium tour. I love how they open it by appearing on stage one by one. Each instrument is added one by one (drums, guitar, keyboard, guitar, bass and finally vocals). It's a really powerful effect and the song itself, despite being a slower paced track, is one hell of a powerful opener. Great reaction as always Jim Games! Loved it. So glad you did this one. I think this is one awesome song!
RAMMSTEIN never fails us with their great songs and openings. I am an fan of rock music since i was an kid , especially the 70s, 80s and the 90s rock. Now im on highschool and there are some few people who like this gendre of music, but this dosent mean there arent any fans of rock. So, to recap that, i really like rock music and the 80s pop.
This is actually one of my favourites from their latest album, imagine my reaction when it was the first song they played when I went to see them. Glorious joy! Yes, the music to these lyrics really suck you into it, craving for more, just as the situation the lyrics are describing are likely to do. Amazing song. Also, I was filming with my phone, the intro with Schneider (the drummer), and I was not prepared for the big boom. I almost dropped my phone, and that is the funniest video from the show I got... 😅
Hello Jim, thanks to you, great reaction... I love (omg) this very long intro... "Was ich liebe" has given me the shudders by hearing it the first time because of the tragic of not daring to love or like something because it kind of automatically includes the risk to lose or ruin it. Also the intention to get rid of everything that ties you to someone or something, or even the necessity to destroy it just to stay free and unharmed, can be interpreted out of the text. ((Very often, though I´m native German, I´m not sure if I understand all connotations of his lyrics.)) So his lyric ego must not love - and that under the assumption, that it does love (so, sth). Huh, that is sick stuff, I daresay. Well, Flake said in an interview (certainly the translation is not accurate, I´m sorry): "Till always sings about love, he does not know any other topic. And because Till is just the way he is, the lines ((the text)) suit him perfectly." For sure, many of the Rammstein songs are about difficulties with relationship, but this song is meant more generally, I believe.
A great job sir . Thank you for taking this serious. Most others only want to get views . You sir give me the feeling that you are a fan . Hardcore Rammstein Fans like me live for them . 2019 i went to 6 Shows in 4 citys. Neuer gets old . You sir are my online Chanel i ever subscribed to . Peace out from germany
I am merely a fan trying to understand and document my journey with Rammstein. Luckily a lot of very cool people have been helping me with links, song theory’s and a prospective I would have never known. It must be incredible to experience Rammstein live. I’m really hoping I to be able to enjoy my first concert this summer!
Gave me goosebumps from the first time I heard it. As you say about the chorus, it makes you crave it. Wonderful performance and a brilliant way of bringing each member onto the stage, giving each band member a chance to shine before they're all brought together. Shout out to Olli and Christoph who rarely get a mention. The bass and drums pound into your soul.
Hey, what a beautiful song. Thank you for my daily morning "fix", of Rammstein and your great reactions. Gets my day off to a good start. Have a good one.
@@JimGames Sorry for the delay in replying. I'm very glad it made you smile. It's nice to do something other than take all the time. i,e (your reactions and hard work and time spent putting it all together). It is all very much appreciated. Please don't feel obliged to do a reaction at that time every day because of what I said. But if you do, do one........;)
I experienced that loud bang 1 week ago and I knew it was coming, but it was so much louder and more intense than in all the videos I have watched. I still can feel it in my bones. What an experience to see them live
German reading tip. W is always pronounced as V. I can add title pronunciations to that document I sent you if you'd like? I watched this reaction on Patreon about 20 times now but I have to watch it again. Thank you again for checking it out! Also you're 1/3rd of the way to another 1000 subscribers! Proud of you friend!
Thank you! The pronunciation is always difficult for me. Yeah the channel has been doing great lately. I have been putting a lot more work into the videos and I guess it’s starting to get some traction!
@@JimGames I've added the pronunciations onto the difficult titles in the document for you. Just used English words with replaced letters word for word where it's needed. You'll understand when you see it. Hope it helps!
Also I know that Richards sister used to design and make their clothes for many years. Now sure if that is still the case for the latest tour but it was for the previous ones.
Hey Jim, enjoying your reactions for so long! Good job man :) And now i have to tell something to u (no critism): in some of the latest Rammstein songs u recognize the melodic and the vocals from Till... when u compare them to the first of Rammsteins songs/albums over the time, Till has really improved his voice and vocal skills! Since the second Album (Sehnsucht) he starts to get vocal exercises so he actually becomes a singer... Like u now love is really a huge topic of their songs, and he especially covers the dark, and depressive sides of love, sexuality and social- ,i will call them, appearances. And in the latest album, from which this song is a a partfrom, they used (like in all albums) a new way to impress themselves with music, so more melodic, not always hard metal and raw. If u like Till, his vocals and especially his songwriting (he is really a talented, and one of the last real poets in Germany), u should check out his solo project called Lindemann. 2 Albums, the first one in English (from 2016) and den last one from 2019 in German, they have cool music vids, making offs etc, and the music is a little bit different from Rammstein, but definitely even to Rammstein ;) th-cam.com/channels/bQporZxQlCjFDcxrWUX7BA.html here the link to the solpprojectchannel And pls, don't judge me for my English, I'm a German `:D Keep it up, love u and ur work! Thank. you so much for the information! I really appreciate it! I have been bouncing around with these reaction videos from old to new. I have noticed his vocals seem better in some songs compared to others. I have a lot on Lindermann reactions in the works. Also your English sounds perfect to me!
This is a great opening for a concert. With the first drum beat you are in. The lyrics cannot be clearly explained even for Germans. I think he sings about someone whose love is destructive to his partner. Maybe because of his jealousy.
To flakes suits. He himself says that they can't be washed properly and that is why they stink. He only puts it on just before he has to go on stage. The brown color on Rammstein's faces is strong coffee. Christuian (Flake) says the band always smells like coffee.
@@JimGames I also drink a lot of coffee. Flake says that he was woundered, that he couldn't sleep at night. He had too much caffeine in his body through his skin. Some are a remedy against the flames but they will also have on the skin.
Unfortunately TH-cam blocked my video to Asche Zu Asche. I. have it up on my Patreon and am toying with the idea of. uploading to other platforms that may not black the video. I really enjoyed Asche Zu asche. Great recommendation!
I notice you are leaving Rammstein behind for other bands now. In that case, you really need to check out Heilung. Almost ss much stage presence and as much show, and Maria Franz has the most insanely beautiful voice and skills with it you will hear.
this explosion at the beginning was the loudest and most powerful 'sound' I ever experienced im my live and in a rammstein concert too ;).
I agree. And at that time we didn't know what was coming...
Oh yes that was something
Did almost get a Heart attack in the front row😆😆

Till's coat weighs 30-40 kilograms approximately. I dont remember well

Oh cool! I thought maybe it was oil or something. I’m a bit of a caffeine addict I wouldn’t mind smelling like coffee all day.

I didn’t think off the caffeine seeping through the skin. I wonder if it a stronger buzz when you mainline it like that 😂☕️
