This did make up very easily- and it is a better size than one I made from another video last week. Instructions were spot on. I did panic for a moment when I opened up the fat quarter I bought, (my first time buying one)as I didn’t think of the directional print, and was afraid I wouldn’t have enough, but it was just enough!
There is another set of turning tubes that I have. They are basically straws of different sizes (kind of like the straws we all use with our water bottles) and dowel rods. Granted, these usually only work if you sew one end closed - but you stick the straw inside and then push the dowel in from the closed side. Works wonderfully.
This bag is so adorable. I'll be making 4 with Frozen fabrics for my 3 granddaughters, and 1 for my next door neighbor's granddaughter. Thank you for your instructions.
Okay so I followed you exactly. Had to mess up once. I sewed the handles in the liner. Hahaha. I had to cut them out, resew. But it turned out super cute. Thanks for a great video. Wish I could show you. I used pink, purple and red daisy fabrics. Purple marble Moda for the handles. Cute.
Wow. This turned out fantastic. Thank you! I boxed the bottoms of the bag 1/2 inch, but otherwise followed your instructions and it was a breeze... well, everything takes me way longer than I feel it should have, but that's on me. I had no issues with the tutorial and I just love how the bag turned out. :)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! You explained everything so well. It will be easy to follow and make. I will be making one this weekend for my great niece.
Great video. ❤️❤️❤️I think it’s pretty easy I could teach my 6 year old granddaughters. What do I think? Strait lines😊. They love sewing on my singer 221
My only problem was the quilting. I’ve not done this before so I didn’t have an easy way to guide the even distance lines. I ended up moving my tape over every line and sewed along the edge. But that was too narrow (1”). How else besides having a foot guide? I didn’t understand the chopstick suggestion. And my making pen is almost dry.
So adorable. I have two little great nieces that are getting purses from me this Christmas! 🎄🎅🏻🎄

Made 4 so far, for granddaughter and grand nieces … how do I post picture of these?
