Episode 2 (and the following) are going to be a bit delayed. 😞 First of all, thank you everyone so much for the support on Episode 1 of the series, it's been the most positive experience and glad I could bring you all something that felt like our unique voice. 3 days before EP1 came out, we decided to host a viewing party with a bunch of creative friends and got a LOT of feedback that made the version you all saw way better. It was an incredible experience because at the end of the day, we want to deliver the best video possible. This feedback is requiring us to rewrite some of the following episodes and with that, it's not possible for us to follow our promised schedule. I was excited about the idea of creating this weekly experience (similar to how we grew up on with TV!) but as a two man crew with some naive edges on us still, that'll be a dream for a future docu-series. This is my first time seeing this channel. All I'll say is boys, DO NOT ignore improving your appearance. There are a lot more benefits that come with simply becoming more attractive than negatives. Having a good personality is a bonus, but improving my looks personally exposed how superficial people are. It's a night and day difference when you start looking better as an individual.
If you're unattractive you're likely already exposed to how superficial most people are. The issue lies not in others, but in your own superficiality and lack of an integrated self. "Good personality is a bonus", you've got it backwards brother. Looks fade. Shallow materialistic people grow into bitter empty shells. Your personality is all you have. Looks are the cherry on top of a well-rounded, integrated psyche. Don't treat your relationship with yourself like a secondary goal or you're in for an extremely rude awakening once you hit middle age. I see it all the god damn time and it's really sad.

I think the ultimate thing people want to know is: “is it based on nothing? Is it arbitrary?” And the answer is that, attractiveness, like all social constructs, is created by a social collective. It will always be social, like any other category. We can measure its boundaries, its “objective” limits and characteristics, but ultimately, these are all categories created and decided in a social context. We can measure what people tend to like, and we can find out why, but we’ll never escape its social constructedness. But I’m just nitpicking because I’m a piece of shit who majored in sociology. In any case, you’re a talented storyteller, keep it up.

Just want to say that I experienced a similar thing growing up. I was 5’6 at 135-140 lbs. I was skinny and always looked younger than my classmates/baby faced. Peers would treat me like a little kid. I was labeled cute by girls in my class, unlike my older brother. Definitely had so many insecurities. Had many people compare me to my brother.

Honestly as someone who is disabled, gay, biracial and more, I feel like the more things I add, the more barriers I have in terms of attractiveness and finding love. I am not at my lowest. But at one point yesterday, I just looked at myself and was like, fuck I look awful. Like I felt bad. I saw all my flaws, I thought, someone hot could wear these clothes and have my hair and look amazing. The problem is me.
Honestly, always wanted to make TH-cam content since I was like 12. I’m 23 now. The halo effect includes any part of a first impression, but attractiveness is definitely something that people cling onto when they don't have much else to go off of. Even more reason to not leave things up to just attractiveness if you fall low on the scale; talk to people or have a strong handshake. Great video

Just want to say that I experienced a similar thing growing up. I was 5’6 at 135-140 lbs. I was skinny and always looked younger than my classmates/baby faced. Peers would treat me like a little kid. I was labeled cute by girls in my class, unlike my older brother. Definitely had so many insecurities. Had many people compare me to my brother.
